This is the exact mistake I made earlier in my crypto journey. I invested mostly in altcoin and later lose almost all my money. Some people do think Bitcoin cam hardly give good profit because of it high recent price but they always forget it long term potentials. Bitcoin isn't for people that lack patience or want quick return.

Also, People often under-estimate the power of starting small. Most people has loses in the crypto space because they see Bitcoin as too huge to invest in. They never want to buy part (like say few dollars of Bitcoin) rather they want whole. Even when talking about a particular altcoin it doesn't make sense to just call it crypto, you are not getting any messages across like that, with things like this it always pays to be specific about what you are talking about so that people don't get misled.
As long as I'm talking about bitcoin I try my best to make sure I'm always using BITCOIN in my sentences so that people know the exact thing I'm talking about.
