I would be only interested in acquiring 1, if we could achieve the $199 price tag (or even less?  )

IIRC those yearly limited edition wallets initially started at $99, and then went up to $129. Last year, the snake cost $149 and after a few months, all the Ballet 24K gold-plated wallets went -overnight- straight up to $299 (without any prior/afterwards announcement.. they just silently changed the prices overnight).

At $199, price still feels excessive; however it is a free market out there. Since people (including myself) keep purchasing those -regardless of the price-, I cannot really complain. Just thought of slightly grumbling about...

oh I agree about the prices. they did the same with the pro series - was 99 then went to 129 then kept going up until i think they reached 299 as well then just removed them.

and the goal here is to get to 10 for the 199 - if we managed to get to 20 or more and they lowered it even more - that would be awesome but I doubt they will drop more than the 100 off
