I think is the winning , first winning always get to our head because it feels like free money , especially when you use small money to win big, after that you start trying your best to win more , even when you fail something inside of you tells you to do more before you know it , addiction has taken over you unknowingly and then you will discover that you have lost alot of money on the long run  ,and first winning is just luck and not skill .

Sure, gambling is a risky game so i believe before one would agree to join gambling it is assume that he's aware of the risk that is involved. The reason why most gamblers get disappointed when they lose money is dew to setting so much high an expectation for something as unpredictable as gambling.

When a gambler’s expectations are unrealistic, they always see no problem with staking with money they that they will regret when they lose it. And then comes the urge to chase those losses, which we know do not usually end as projected.

That is just how gambling is sometimes. You can check form, stats, consistency, everything, and one random thing still spoil the whole game.

What a lot pf people fail to understand is that gambling in its most basic form is a game and in games, there are always winners and loses. I tend to think of gambling as zero sum and operate it that way. That's why anytime I win, I'm grateful but i do remind myself that there would be days where I would lose and it's important to remind myself on those losing days that I can't be a loser every time.
