Largest oil tanker ever seized

United States of America seized a very big oil tanker in Venezuela territory recently? Trump said it is the largest sized tanker that has ever been seized.

They said the oil tank has been sanctioned in the past but US during Trump's time are making big lies that I can see. It is more about politics and wanting Maduro to step down as president or something underneath unrevealed.

The large oil tank ship is owned by a company in Nigeria but the name of the company was not mentioned.

I think from what I also understand it was no to be one of the biggest tankers which led by I think some US Coast Guard vessels and it was been supported by some navy’s and honestly speaking this was a lot of cases, which I think the US treasury department have said it was been sanctioned the skipper in 2022.

Since the vessel is in Venezuela territory, does Trump have the legal powers to seize it, is it not when the vessel has crossed to the American territory that he can order for the vessel to be reprimanded. Does Maduro have such authority to seize an American vessel that is not in Venezuela territory. Trump can sanction Maduro and try to frustrate his government but coming inside somebody else's territory to take action is what i haven't understood, does the international law permit that?

The US can go any lengths to force Maduro to resign from power. The Oil tanker was seized by the US because Venezuela is strictly under international sanctioned from doing business involving oil. I think the US has right to seize the tanker. Crude oil thief is not only carried out by the government,even individuals, military generals & Niger delta warlords, are all  involved in crude oil theft. Funny enough,the government are aware of illegal bunkering going on in Niger delta by these powerful individuals but chose to allow the stealing of our national resources go on.

I think the US has right to seize the tanker. Crude oil thief is not only carried out by the government,even individuals, military generals & Niger delta warlords, are all  involved in crude oil theft. Smiles i think you are taking this to heart if am not mistaken you then I think the US are doing a little bit of i to sabi something interesting did they show evidence of the stolen oil or anything because this white guys can be funny sometimes, I feel the fault is for the bad government that is letting this issue to happen because if we could fix our problems it wouldn’t got to this level, well God knows how many years this has been going on.
