Ohh, I see. That made what my contact wrote to me made much easier to understand now.

Ok, so, I think I've hear from both sides, and --like it or not-- this is the classic gambling addict v. casino's duty to adhere to Responsible Gambling Act. Just like self-exclusion failed to lock-in in any casinos, a gambling limitation needs both parties active involvement in order for Responsible Gambling to be able to take place. Casinos can try to lock a player from getting back to their platform, make it as difficult as possible for the said player to return, but a player will also always be able to manage to sneak in, there are so many ways to Rome.

That is me saying you both bear the burden of fault on this case. I am not supporting BC for their failure to keep their betting limitation to lock in, but I am also simultaneously find it frown-inducing and a motive-questioning action from you to continue on playing even after fully knowing that the limit failed to take place.

I'll stress this again: a gambling limitation needs both parties active involvement in order for it to work.

That said, I'll pursue my contact to pursue their dev team to "fix this bug" and ensure the daily limit and loss limit will work smoothly.

I personally wholly disagree with 'a gambling limitation needs both parties active involvement in order for it to work.', maybe with borderline licenses like theirs, and maybe mostly with exclusion rather than limits, but I respect your opinion.

Thing is, they state 'Gain control over your play or betting by using loss or wagering limits' in their limits page, and then they face no consequence for being fully aware they don't work for months (as it's pretty clear with all the other cases) and not fixing them? That's interesting, you pretend to have a tool to help people with difficulty to control gambling amounts, but then when it fails (while you are, again, fully aware of it not working, since they like to throw the 'awareness' word around) you tell them they should have controlled their gambling amounts?

Also, can you confirm this is final?

As for final, I meant as they are not willing to refund. I paused posting about this and have put a call with a journalist on standby because I didn't want to mess with your process.

I have mentioned the amounts a couple times in the thread, and in the PM I sent you I stated the specific dates with screenshots of each deposit. I can provide more context if needed. For what it's worth, on the first deposits I wasn't even aware I had the loss limit active. I must have set it mindlessly after losing a few hundred dollars the first time I played, but when I lost the second time (dec 3), I went to set the limit and found it already there, active, and immediately contacted the live chat.  You, or whoever is reading, are free to believe or not believe this last thing, there's no way for me to prove that I didn't remember something, but it's kind of irrelevant in general give the main point of this issue.

Also, if the decision eventually becomes to not refund and consequently keep their limits broekn, which you are right in thinking I hope isn't the case, you can stay well assured my intent will be to inform people of what they are doing. As I've said, I know a lot (vast majority) of complaints are about withdraw times, missing deposits etc, which are almost always about impatience, but this is quite more serious.

So, this is me saying I am not interested to dive deep into my inbox and look at them one by one just to find your PM with amount.

$5k were played and lost with the $10 loss limit active on dec 3 (limit added between the 1st and 2nd of December), the other $3k (dec 7) were played and lost with also a $20 wager limit active (added a couple of days after the loss limit one).

Since we were talking about 'awareness' before, and they could care less about it clearly, I want to specify to whoever's reading that the second $3k were played while aware of the limits, which shouldn't justify BC being aware of not-working limits for months and not fixing them whatsoever, and I've since taken other (working, not BC related) measures to prevent that from happening again. Yes I'm aware that no one probably cares. RG limits are built to prevent loss-of-control things like this from happening, if a casino's enforced by law to prevent that, the casino cannot say 'you should have stopped because you were aware of the limits', while they purposefully left them broken for months. If a player sets limits, it's because they can't rely on their own will to respect them, otherwise what's exactly the point of the limits at all?

For what I can see you seem a respectable person, but how can you believe they care about RG when they've been aware of their limits not working for months (based on ptaylor78's case, it may be even longer than months), and when yet another user reports losing money because of it, their first answer is 'you were aware of the limits so why didn't you follow them even if they didn't work?', which again is total nonsense. And think of all the people not reporting it.

Also, since you mentioned again that there are ways to bypass limits, I did absolutely nothing to bypass them. Not a single thing: haven't used any different browser, device, connection, and obviously no different accounts. This is relevant for self-exclusion, where crypto casinos (or casinos whose license doesn't require KYC straight at sign up) can't do much other than saying that if you use multiple accounts they'll take your money. Limits though, on the same account, I don't see how they can be bypassed.

Let me give you a clearer picture, not to brag, simply to give you a vivid understanding of how I believe what I believe: I have so many contacts on BC. They're a casino that assign battalions of staffs to me, so I can assign cases to a more fitting division, as I deemed fit. So that's one indication how they take their business seriously [regardless how poor their live support is]. Further, there are few cases where I assign a case of self exclusion and the likes to a contact, and they're turned into hell-hound, hunting down to the roots of the issue to try to understand how that situation could happen in the first place.

How do I'm sure he did what he said he did? Because my contact from other department reached me and asked me what I just asked to that person that made the said person turned the entire tables of said department to get to the root of the issue.

Need I say more?

Screenshots... if I may cut to the chase, we're looking at a compensation for the loss you suffered due to your gambling addiction failed to be cauterized by their daily limit and max loss limit, aren't we here?

Let me give you a clearer picture, not to brag, simply to give you a vivid understanding of how I believe what I believe: I have so many contacts on BC. They're a casino that assign battalions of staffs to me, so I can assign cases to a more fitting division, as I deemed fit. So that's one indication how they take their business seriously [regardless how poor their live support is]. Further, there are few cases where I assign a case of self exclusion and the likes to a contact, and they're turned into hell-hound, hunting down to the roots of the issue to try to understand how that situation could happen in the first place.

How do I'm sure he did what he said he did? Because my contact from other department reached me and asked me what I just asked to that person that made the said person turned the entire tables of said department to get to the root of the issue.

Screenshots... if I may cut to the chase, we're looking at a compensation for the loss you suffered due to your gambling addiction failed to be cauterized by their daily limit and max loss limit, aren't we here?

No idea what's gotten you so spicy about this, I believe I always answered with nothing but respect. You're saying I'm exploiting them, while I gave them money because they exploited a system that was supposed to stop me from doing so. A system based on regulations, not on something I invented out of thin air, created because the 'urge you can't control' you talk about isn't a behaviour someone chooses to act on willingly. You think they lost more money by refunding those who lost funds because of it not working, or they made more money by having this system purposefully broken?

I see no point in arguing about whose opinion is right or wrong. You seem to believe I'm the one to blame for this, and while I aknowledge my own issues, I believe they are. They have previously seemingly admitted they are as well, in a case you have mediated yourself, and rightfully should if they care about rg and awareness as you said they do.

 I'd like to avoid pointless arguing and keep this to only give you what you need (screenshots, data, details, if any) to mediate this and see if they are willing to refund. I opened this thread to expose what they were doing, without knowing that there was someone like you available to actually help, and without even knowing there were previous cases like mine.
