The major part of the forum discussion is centred around bitcoin and even the politics and society section of the forum that allows for other non bitcoin discussions still relates to to bitcoin which practically means that by engaging in the forum discussion, you're continuously learning about bitcoin every now and then.

If you are looking for the largest repository of information, discussion, and various threads available, then this forum has everything.

Satoshi envisioned an environment where people would constantly discuss, predict, and even provide services for anything related to BTC in this forum. Slowly, the rise of altcoins introduced its way which paved the creation of various altcoin boards and discussions. Not to mention, you can even earn BTCs in this forum by participating in campaign signatures or even by faucets (which are obviously a thing in the past).

The purpose is to discuss how the community can contribute input that can be developed because Bitcoin is open source. The purpose of this forum, as established by themmos through a topic in 2018, is to discuss ideas freely but maintain an orderly approach to established rules, even if people attend to make money. He also stated that the forum administration is very pleased that those who come can improve themselves.

Discussing everything related to Bitcoin, including discussions about Bitcoin investments, is a breakthrough that will flow towards the forum administration's desired goal of self-improvement.
The discussion of Bitcoin investments alone seems to be a very small part of this forum, as everything else related to ideas can be discussed here.

This forum exists to provide a platform for the free (but ordered) exchange of ideas. If you have an idea to express, then it is probably possible to do it here as long as you follow the rules.

A lot of people come here primarily looking to make money. The forum administration is very happy that people are able to use the forum in order to better themselves; indeed, one of the reasons for Bitcoin's creation was to break the artificial barriers which prevent so many people around the world from attaining prosperity. However, if your attempts to make money conflict with the forum's primary goal of enabling discussion, then you are swimming upstream, and you will not be sucessful in the end.

If you view the forum as some sort of "job" where you complete some basic tasks and get paid, then you will almost certainly be disappointed, and the forum administration will not be sympathetic. One of the main goals of Bitcoin is privacy and decentralization. Profit-making through investment in Bitcoin is more popular now; however, some people are here for more than money. I always refer people whom I discuss Bitcoin with to the forum. This place has enough information that will give a novice a foundational and professional knowledge of Bitcoin. Some of them who have gone through the material on the forum agreed that it is a good place to learn. Some of them don't join discussions because they dont have interest in registering. They are just reading and taking the right steps.

Joining discussions in this forum not only makes us knowledgeable but there's also a chance that someone will also mention a news that is related to the topic let's say the news about trump supporting bitcoin before so it's not like we will know it right away because not all people are in the same country. The forum is all about Bitcoin discussion and if your coming here does not make you have the basic knowledge of bitcoin, going to other boards where Bitcoin is not discussed will not really make you a proud person of being here. Bitcoin discussion board is one of the most valuable boards you can come across in this forum, discussions there can really help you build your knowledge more about bitcoin.

In this forum, when you cannot contribute in bitcoin discussion due to lack of knowledge, it is better that you stick to learning and growing your knowledge of bitcoin before you can join discussions fully in order not to post inappropriate and misleading information about bitcoin. Bitcoin discussion section is the most active one in my opinion I spent most of my time there but most of the discussion started by newbies is not so good it is just simple questions they are asking or sharing that I have been reading since the start and I really don't like it.

The forum is versatile with different discussions, but anyone who is an enthusiast of Bitcoin will find a way to engage in discussions that are Bitcoin related. Bitcointalk is a Bitcoin forum, and the broader part of the forum is more about Bitcoin, only few boards are among those that don't relate to Bitcoin discussion, but the majority in a way or another usually engage people in discussing Bitcoin related affairs.

Well, it depends on the reason why the a forum participant is in this forum in the first place. We cannot assume that everyone who is here in this forum is here primarily to learn about Bitcoin. For anyone whose genuine motive is to learn about Bitcoin, it is necessary that he/she joins discussions in the Bitcoin Discussion board. They can't learn well by avoiding interactions from people who are also Bitcoin investors themselves. Users here have failed along the way, made mistakes and corrected their mistakes too. Leaning about Bitcoin is not only possible in the Bitcoin discussion board, there are other boards you can still learn about Bitcoin such as the technical board, beginners and it can help you can fetch you a lot of knowledge expecialy when some questions are been asked, the reply you see from some members will make you learn. Sincerely speaking when I was first introduced to bitcoin I never heard any reliable information about it, why because the person who introduced me to Bitcoin was a trader, but not longer a trader anymore he now buy and hold just like me, because I made him to see the potential that is in Bitcoin.

And the knowledge I have now about bitcoin I got it in this forum from reputable members like: @JayJuanGee, @fillippone and some other reputable members who where also dedicated in teaching those who have little knowledge about Bitcoin, and willing to learn about it.

One the things about this forum is that, there is no way you'll be on this forum and not learn. All you have to do is read and ask questions on things you don't understand. By doing that, the only part of bitcoin is the super complicated part of it, other than that, you'll know everything else.
