I am really LOVING the throwback look on these. They remind me a lot of old U.S. treasury and silver certificates (as well as 1900's Swiss banknotes) ... Especially the engraving style, layouts, and color schemes. They have that classic banknote feel that older paper money has, which I think, works really well for physical Bitcoin.
Between these and the recent MyBits Liberty coin drop, I’ve been enjoying how much classic coin and note design showing up in physical BTC collectables and cold storage. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing more commemorative coins and notes next year for the US 250th Semiquincentennial.

You've nailed the 1900s Swiss banknote theme. The 50 and 100 and 1000 CHF (all decommissioned) were used in this project. I was waiting for someone to catch that! https://en.numista.com/219500But we never used any U.S FED, treasury or gold / silver certificates. I spent a week hunting in the Philippines for old Peso banknotes that were designed and printed in D.C. Very similar designs, but legal to use since they aren't US currency! https://en.numista.com/237773We also have a project in the works for the US 250th Semiquincentennial that will use some of the higher denomination Philippine Peso designs as borders.

None at this time. The series may expand in the future to smaller denominations. I think amounts under 1 mbtc may be in demand eventually.

Dan, owner of Polymerbit, is a great guy, and his notes are among the best in the industry. The standout feature of Polymerbit Notes is the art and designs. His notes will be part of crypto collectible history.

There are two variants of this series. They've been mixed in between serial numbers. If you can spot the differences, feel free to comment below.

There are two variants of this series. They've been mixed in between serial numbers. If you can spot the differences, feel free to comment below. Ok, I love an Easter egg hunt. I’ve been comparing my serial #000004 and #000013 photos side-by-side, and also against the thread pics of #000015, and I’m not spotting any noticeable variances so far. The only thing I can’t compare is UV, since I don’t have UV shots of #000015. Am I missing something (and should I keep looking), or are the differences super subtle? At this point, I’m about to order the most powerful microscope Amazon will sell without asking for a university ID to audit these notes. Also, to confirm, when you say “two variants,” you mean within the same denomination and mixed across serial numbers, right? (Not differences between denominations.) Because I do notice microtext differences between denominations (beyond just the Crypto Valley back scenes).
