Can you explain why you changed the thread name ? Please don’t mention anything about being off topic . this is very on topic?
How do you think members who have responded to your topic feel, when you have changed it ? Are they or you off topic now ?

The OP is just a clown... this thread made it to page 3... the OP then deleted a post and re-posted it to bump the thread and then changed the name hoping for more action making other comments "off-topic."  Anyone who calls him out on his bullshit has to deal with his stupidity calling for a ban from the forum.  He's just starving for attention.

I still ask the OP to answer about the pic I posted of his reddit conversation.  All would consider that cyberbullying, but he's here crying about others.

howardsentell is a waste of time, full stop.

Cyberbullying is bad, case closed, it shouldn't be tolerated in our society. Forum is a public space, we can't have the same view, but that shouldn't degenerate into unnecessary bullying, everyone must show maturity and restraint. The absence of maturity and restraint is the reason for the forum rules that everybody must abide with to check situations like that. If you can't, the forum will eject you, period.

But I don't know how Bitcointalk takes the cyberbullying serious, but the little I noticed is that they do not enforce it much, I have seen some things that shouldn't have been said by members to another members undeleted and some members claim that moderators do nothing about it. This is not good, except such is acceptable in the forum, which I strongly doubt.

Cyberbullies frequently change the subject to evade accountability, particularly when confronted with the consequences of their actions. They may deny incidents, undermine the targets perceptions, or shift blame by characterizing the target as overly sensitive. Diversionary tactics, including the introduction of unrelated topics, are used to deflect attention from inappropriate behavior. Additionally, cyberbullies often minimize the harm caused, portraying their actions as insignificant and dismissing complaints as overreactions.

...or they avoid answering for their actions.  Wink

This post shows problematic cyberbullying behavior by anonymousminer. Reviewing their previous posts reveals a clear pattern.

Anonymouseminer is harassing me, using verbal abuse, making unfounded accusations, and behaving aggressively and provocatively. Please check my activity on this forum and judge for yourselves — it’s only a few threads, and you will see for yourselves who anonymouseminer really is. Additionally, please check this thread where he is accused of posting from multiple accounts, which is something I also suspect him of https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5569762.msg66297823#msg66297823

the funny thing about OP is how he points out the things that make a person a cyber-bully - harassment, stalking, threats - all of which OP has done. The first 2 I experienced first hand - the OP was asked to stop calling me and to stop texting me so I could deal with my mother who at the time just had a stroke and was in the hospital - I had to block him because after being asked 3 times, they continued to call, text and leave voicemails - all examples of harassment.  And then once cell phone was blocked, he would send dozens upon dozens of emails, sent several forum DM's - none of which are actually related to the forums and what goes on here - then they started messaging me on telegram - this is more example of harassment and also of stalking.

more examples of harassment? sending a multitude of unsolicited dm's to multiple people on the forums.

He also has told at least one person "See you at the conference" that can be construed as a threat seeing as the person he told it to has asked OP to leave him alone.

By the OP's own definition, he is a cyber-bully and should be removed from the forums. Anyone notice the double standard and hypocrisy?

Howard, let this stupidity go and just focus on trying to buy the items you want. When someone asks you to leave them alone, then leave them alone for crying out loud.

Mopar, your behavior is one reason I started this discussion. Research this member's posts; it's problematic and cyberbullying. I appreciate your engagement, as it has kept this topic visible at the top of this board. He disregards appropriate professional boundaries. These are some of the emails he sent me trying to sell his products. Additionally, this post does not have enough space to include all his text and calls.

When I post on the collectible board, he targets my account. He does not want me to participate on this board. Watch the pattern; he will have all his bots target my account. The ignore feature on the forum is awesome. Praying for you 🙏

For example, I just posted on the collectible board today,

Re: BUYING Bitcoin Collectibles 💫

An hour later, Mopar targeted my account.

You fail to mention those emails from me are in response to your emails not me randomly emailing you (hence why they all have "Re:" in the subject line). They also are not emails about me trying to sell you my products, they are replies to emails where you were asking for specific products and were requesting that I find them for you.  Also, above you are showing just 15 emails from me over a period of 24 days.

Also failure to mention that the emails you  detail are before my request to stop contacting me - before your harassment of myself when my mother was in the hospital.

The issue is when you bombarded me after my mother was in the hospital and after I asked you to stop multiple times in a just a few short minutes. That is when your harassment of me began.

also my post had nothing to do with what you posted in collectibles, I don't see any issues with any recent posts there in collectibles. I happened to see in a thread in reputation that you linked to this thread here in meta. And in seeing what you posted in your definition of a cyber bully - that you were in fact describing your own actions.

you inflate your own importance. I have pointed out that you were harassing me not to complain and not cry about it but to simply point out that you are doing the actions for which you are complaining about other people supposedly doing to you. It is not them - it is you that is the issue.

Cyberbully Tactics: Know their strategies

Cyberbullies frequently change the subject to evade accountability, particularly when confronted with the consequences of their actions. Cyberbullying does indeed take place here, often through subtle tactics like repeated harassment, mockery, or targeted insults. Howard’s post seems aimed at shining a light on this, and I think many of us—myself included—have experienced some form of it, whether online or on this forum.

While highlighting these issues won’t change everyone’s opinions, standing against it as Howard does is commendable, and we all should too. At the very least, we can all agree there’s almost always a better way to communicate: positively, respectfully, and constructively, without negativity. Planting that seed could foster healthier discussions for the entire community.

The mods can't read every single thread, especially in a massive community like this.

That's what the "Report to moderator" button is for.
You have a point, and that's how it should be, provided it's effective.

But if you hear people's dissatisfaction about the report feature, you would think otherwise. Some users are being disenfranchised in silence, so making some reporting public for discussion could be the way to go, if possible.

You must be confused. This important topic remains the same. You keep stating that thread procedures are more important than cyberbullying. Textbook cyberbullies often change the subject to evade accountability, especially when confronted with the consequences of their actions. Diversionary tactics, like introducing unrelated topics, deflect attention from inappropriate behavior. Moderators, remove this member from the post. They have violated Rules 2 and 3. Thanks.

The significance of this topic remains unchanged. Failure to address the issue and the use of diversionary tactics are interpreted as condoning cyberbullying. Individuals who engage in textbook cyberbullying often change the subject to evade accountability, particularly when faced with potential consequences. Employing diversionary tactics, such as introducing unrelated topics, deflects attention from inappropriate behavior. This conduct constitutes a violation of Rules 2 and 3.

💡 The best ways to counter cyberbullying are to not respond, block the bully, document evidence like screenshots and messages, and report the behavior to the platform's moderators. Ignoring the bully deprives them of the reaction they seek. Saving evidence is crucial for taking action against harassment.

Less engagement, less headaches.

Is he annoying? Ignore.
Is he spamming? Report.
Is he scamming? Tag/Flag.

Anything else? Don’t care.

The moment you talk to a troll, you are giving him exactly what he has been looking for: Attention.

If you wrestle a pig; you get dirty and the pig likes it. That’s the difference. You can counter Cyberbullying easily, ignore > it goes away.

ow yes 100% agreed, took away the words from my mouth. In this case took away the words from my fingers typing it on the keyboard.

Moderator doesn’t moderate scam or any conflict here that involves personal against other user. The best way to counter it is to let go and move forward.

Focusing on someone that bully you will give them more fuel to keep bully you because you are entertaining them.

You don’t owe a response to anyone here. Just ignore and communicate to the user that treat you well. You should convince the moderator about this if you want this suggestion materialized.

We don't always have to respond on everything, at some point not responding at all is a response as well. And the message is clear to the other disturbant that he's not worth the stress and time he's seeking.

Depriving them a response invariably leaves the joke on them because they don't get the opportunity to drop what they've prepared in waiting of your response...
