Holidays aren’t for saving, they’re for spending. It’s just a few days anyway, while the rest of the year you have plenty of time to think about saving. Life isn’t only about saving money. We also have to spend it, because we never really know how long we’ll be around. Holidays are for spending time with family, and of course you need money to do that.

If we talk about Christmas and New Year, then it only happens once a year obviously. So with that, for me it's better to celebrate it as you have a full year to work very hard and save or invest money on crypto and maybe withdraw some to make this holiday season more memorable. So that good food will be in the table, have fun and laughter, and with that, no amount of money can replace that. Although you don't need to over-spend, just enough for shared meals, few drinks, gifts so that you celebrate without any guilt or something that you used so much money and nothing is left in the bank for you.

This is where your savings come in. During the year, it is expected that you have made some savings, from there you can tap into it to make your family happy, but dont spend it all as the holidays come and go. It depends on your status in life, if you have a steady job or a profitable business, its ok to spend money and give meaningful gifts to satisfy our family, if we do not, we can serve a simple noche buena, which is what we call in our country. The most important thing is that we are all together for Christmas dinner.
We share the love and commemorate the meaning of the holidays, but we have to think of our savings. If we don't have a stable source of income, it's not wise to spend it all on holidays.

Is the vacation only for the family? Of course not, we all. share it. Going on vacation once is a natural thing, after all, what have we done so far, how come we have to be stingy with ourselves. It's part of rewarding ourselves for the hard work we've done throughout the year. After all, we don't go on vacation every week, right? If we go on vacation every week, then I also agree that it's not wise. I myself go on vacation at least 2 to 3 times a year. Our bodies also need that after struggling with our work or routine activities. And do vacations always cost money? I don't think so, there are many kinds of vacations that are friendly to our finances.

If all you do is to save save save, what time will you eventually spend  on your love ones? That's where the issue lies. There's time for everything and what makes you an organised person is when you're able to do the right thing at the right time without being fully involved in one at the negligence of another.

A family that doesn't have proper plan on ground regarding how to spend the holiday with love ones and set out a reasonable budget for that will still struggle when the holiday finishes.  Apart from a break as this, what we mostly do is to run all day long hustling and buzzling without setting out proper time for self and family. Once those things are missing, you're eventually going to have issue in your home that will still affect your your work life after the holiday. It doesn't take much to take care of yourself once In a while.

The question sounds like... Should we use our own money to afford ourselves self needs or we deny ourselves the essence and save the money? Of course that is to my own opinion.

Nevertheless, holiday has come and to those that celebrates the festive are definitely going to make expenses much more than our regular spendings because, we are going to stock our houses with lot of foods, refurnish the house to look more nice to reflect the festive, make budgets for outdoors events and as well but gifts for our families and loved ones.

There are lot of enticements that is to be accompanied with the holidays activities but it is expected that everyone will only react towards it based on what they can afford, you don't need to be indebted for a just occasion that will come and go.
It is also not worth it to lavish your life savings at the course of it.
Perhaps it is not compulsory that you must make the unusual expenses at it course.

You must also note that there is not income or profits remarks after in the season, so, you should spend wisely so that you don't regret your expenses of using your investment funds to celebrate the holidays.

Some will also spend luxuriously in the short time and in the long term they will find it hard to survive in affording their immediate needs after the holidays.
Then is usually where some people may say that begining of the new years is always tough economically because they spent lavishly in the holidays and did not make reserve for long term sustainabilities.

It is a Christmas season and there is a reason for the season, children would want something spectacular, something special for Christmas, so it's good to make memories by cooking delicious meals, visiting friends and family and ordinarily make this season count because it's a season of celebration. From the beginning of the Year Christmas is one season people keep for special activities irrespective of the financial situation, you just have to do according to what you can afford.

After almost a year of working to support the family, I've set aside a little bit for savings. I can also use my savings for a vacation. Vacations are one of the most important moments in life. I've planned everything in advance. Most people think vacations are synonymous with spending a lot of money, going on trips with the family, eating delicious food. But vacations can be enjoyed in simple ways.

The important thing is being able to spend time with my family and spending time together.

If this question is asked to me, then I will definitely never spend money on a good meal or a good day, because a lot of money will come in life but if you go on a special day, it may be because of money. So if there is a special day on a holiday, be it Christmas Day or any other religious day or any vacation. We should definitely give priority to our family and we should spend as much money as we need to have a good time without worrying about money. That does not mean that I will spend more money than necessary on vacation, Of course it will be moderate which will help me enjoy it.

This depends on individual preferences, as people enjoying their holidays naturally focus more on enjoyable things, and that doesn't just involve giving gifts or cooking favorite meals at home with their families. However, if saving money feels more enjoyable and brings joy, then there's nothing wrong with doing so as long as you can enjoy the holiday with your family with love. Because the standard for enjoying anything can vary greatly from person to person, there's no one-size-fits-all approach. However, in my personal opinion, I would prefer to enjoy a meal with my family on the beach or at a nearby tourist spot if I wanted to maximize my precious vacation time.

It depends on your finances. Last year it was great for me, we had a lot of food for the holidays, and I sent everyone a gift, but this year it's different, because of the market condition not that I cannot afford food for the holidays or send my loved ones gifts, but I prefer to be simple I already explain these to my loved ones and they understand, the most important is everyone are present to great each other a happy holiday

Why not? As long as you still have savings and spend a little money on vacations and good food with your family, it's not a problem, it's a must for the happiness of your household.

But when your savings are not there and then force a vacation then this is not necessary to do, you can postpone the vacation first and focus on saving while this is sufficient after you feel safe with the money you have you can vacation with your family as you like.

The vacation depends on your financial condition whether it is adequate or not.

In my opinion, it is better for those who have money to spend it because if we feed our friends, relatives and the poor, it is better because nothing much can be done by saving money. If we distribute some money among people, then on the one hand we will get happiness and love from people. If we entertain people before starting a business, they do a kind of marketing, but entertaining people will not reduce our wealth in any way. Even if we keep it, it is not too bad because if we need money with which we have to do our business, then we must use it. If we waste it, it is wrong, which will also have a bad effect on our business. Even if we do not give anyone a gift, it is better for us all to have a small party together, which will create an atmosphere of happiness and peace for some time and the little ones will also have a good time.

Ask me during holidays, particularly the Christmas and New Year and I would rather make my family happy by spending as much as I can. That means a lot to me since I always strive to make positive memories and build family relations as this is what makes a family happy. However, that does not imply that I do not save. I do save, however, in little bits, or perhaps I can save another day. This is particularly because there are occasions during the holidays that do not occur frequently and the entire family might be able to meet, as such we have to make it count. The more we are satisfied with our families, the more we are also excited to earn money.

What is the need of the money if you can’t not use it to make your family happy and satisfied. Working all year long and can’t even take out money to give you and your family a good time this holiday is bad.
Giving you family happiness this holiday should not cost your whole saving but what ever you can get for them to make the holiday special do it for them.

Everyone with their choice of action towards what they want to use their money for, for those who are having responsibility could likely sell some portion of their investments to assist their families, only if they don't have additional source income or something like emergency fund where they could dip hands into those savings to assist themselves can likely sell of some portion either with their 10-20 percent of their investments depending on how large and big is their investments they could sell some of them to assist but in way where they are already having emergency fund or reserve funds they could dip hands on those funds without them having to sell of their investments to assist their families.

Better to work and save during holidays and celebrate it later.

Working during holidays will make you get paid higher than usual, this mean you can maximize your income with the same effort you spent. Celebrating with families didn't must be held during holidays because loving families should be for everyday, not in holidays only.

You can decide to do whatever you want provided you have the money, some would say the holidays is a period to save more and some would say it's a period to spend for family, friends and lots more but regardless you can prefer to do both and that's if you earn a good income, so after the holidays after spending and lavishing excessively you can as well plan on how to go about with you savings. So for my take I'll prefer both.
