People prone to gambling because of zodia signs?

I have a friend who is a Gemini but he doesn't like gambling. He even always suggest other friends to stay away from gambling. But he can accept if others play gambling especially for fun and occasionally.

He doesn't playing gambling because he says that it's just a waste of time and money. He prefers to use his time to work and earn money uh he really likes to make money in many ways. He is stingy but he is kind to his friends

People prone to gambling because they want and have a reason why they gamble. Some of them want to have fun, others want to make money, while others want to feel the excitement and challenge.

This is really getting out of hand IMO. Astrology cannot be quantified realistically unless there are studies with actual results, without being influenced by them personally. Like knowing that they are a "Capricorn" so they would do this. It shouldn't be in any way influence, technically, impartial.

Maybe check scientific literature on gambling behavior, then check birthdates and see if they line up.

It’s more likely coincidence and confirmation bias than fact as astrology uses broad personality traits that can seem accurate after the fact, while gambling behavior is better explained by environment, stress, access, and individual self control rather than zodiac signs. It's not I don't believed in that but to related it in such way for gambling success would be not so good. It's always luck play it's part and nothing to do with the signs like zodiac.

Zodiac signs are used to stereotype people that they will behave in a certain way because they where born at certain times of the year, some will shape their characters into the so called zodiac sign that they supposedly belong to. I don't think that zodiac has anything to do with gambling, people gamble for many reasons and I doubt that anything astrology is among them. Gambling interests are mainly physical and emotional reasons, basically either to get rich quick or to have fun and thrill with your money. I don't also think there is anything spiritual about gambling, many people have been scammed because they believe something extraordinary is attached to gambling.

I don't really see the reality of zodiac sign influencing the attitude of people towards gambling, because if it's judged by zodiac signs, everyone with that zodiac sign should be gambling right? It should be general and not specific but I don't see the possibility of everyone with the zodiac sign "Aries" gambling.

The concept of people judging their attitude based off their zodiac sign for me is way of self justification and is out of reality. It's not just adding up for me, because I have a friend whose zodiac sign is Taurus and he's an addict in gambling, another friend whose zodiac sign is Gemini and does not want to hear the word "gambling", the list just goes on and on.

I would say it's likely coincidentally, and not statistically proven with results so it's not a fact but just a hypothesis and should be treated as such.

I'm not into astrology, but I know the descriptions of all the astrological signs. Yes, Aries are very temperamental, and this is one of the signs whose bearers are unbearable due to their erratic nature. Frankly, there are some like that in my circle, and I can hardly stand them. However, I wouldn't speak with certainty about all representatives of these signs, since, one way or another, everything always depends not only on the year and month of birth but also on the environment in which a person was raised and educated, as well as their psychological health.

There is no truth in it because there is no scientific evidence or research that says Zodiac signs are truly part of what can make some people gamble more, it is only stated by astrologers that Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius have more likely chances to gamble more but we do not have any evidence to know if this is true. I often see behavior that doesn't make sense and looks strange for those who engage in gambling activities because they often lose.
It's not surprising that your zodiac sign, date of birth, car accident plate, Numbers that appear suddenly are used as the main basis for betting, especially in lottery gambling, even though it all doesn't make sense, but that is what gamblers believe.

I often see my friends who have the zodiac signs Scorpio, Leo and Aries, they think they are experts at gambling, they are known to have expert qualities in taking risks, are confident, competitive and so on and the zodiac Sagittarius is known as an adventurous nature who is interested inin the challenging game of Roulette, but they forget that gambling is not related to the zodiac, you bet, win, take money and lose, that's all, gambling cannot be separated from experience, luck, strategy, knowledge about the type of game being played, not the zodiac.

They just believe on something unfounded claims since maybe they are trying to relate those situation happened to them on their zodiac signs. But I don't think it has certain relation since any zodiac signs they are looking at are prone for gambling addiction. All people made mistake and if they didn't control their spending on casinos most likely they experience those worst situations that they didn't expect to happen.

If they read similar situation happen then everything is just coincidence. They better sync with reality and don't easily believe on prediction also made by humans.

Zodiac does not determine a person's fate or has nothing to do with someone who gambles, some gamblers initially gamble because they may be influenced by their living environment which makes them tempted to gamble and there are also some gamblers who gamble because they do not have a job and think that through gambling they can get income and there are also some gamblers who are people who are looking for entertainment so they gamble only to get pleasure, Zodiac is not a benchmark for someone who gambles even though your two friends who gamble have the same zodiac but this does not happen to other gamblers out there.

I think it's more of a coincidence, because of the probability of numbers. I've known impulsive, adventurous people, but they shun gambling; some practical people gamble.
We cannot conclude a gambler's character traits from their Zodiac sign; as with everyone else's opinions here, the environment and the influence of those around them are significant factors.

As much as gambling can be impulsive which can lead to addiction due to the urge of getting rich, I don't think astrology should be taking into consideration about the behavior of individual gamblers.
Gambling on it own is just a habit that anyone who's exposed to it and like it would want to adapt to. There's no inborn of a man to be a gambler, whatever life anyone chooses as a habit is a decision. So, we also can't give an understanding privilege to any of the zodiac persons who're gambling irresponsibly to say, okay, I understand why you're being addicted of gambling is because of your zodiac sign, so, you don't need to be blamed else, you'll be nurturing that bad habits of them.

I think this has absolutely nothing to do with gambling or other areas of life. I have acquaintances who were born almost on the same day. That is an even bigger similarity than just zodiac signs. Yet these people are completely different. One is quiet, the other is extremely energetic, and so on. So I believe that zodiac signs, and other astrological ideas have no real significance in gambling, neither for players’ tendencies nor for their results.

If you believe in magic, significance of zodiac signs or premonitions, you will notice connections that enforce your belief. That's called confirmation bias.

Why isn't it proven scientifically? Because there's no other connection but bias of believers.
