I think your friend is just unlucky since he has not gotten a win from the codes that are shared in the group, when he's involved there will be no win but when he doesn't there'll be a win. After reading the whole story and on hearing the word "code", the next thing my mind just reflected to is that your friend joined a scam betting group. I have received invitations from some spammers on telegram and through my mail, inviting me to come join groups where I could receive sure betting tips, but I always refuse to cause I have learnt from people experience, about how they got scammed through that means. Your friend isn't the only person. I randomly saw one guy on Twitter and he won ₦38 Million through basketball. Out of curiosity, I decided to give a followed and started playing the code he dropped. That is very true. Why follow that group if you can do it all alone? Because it is like the prediction group, usually the owners are the ones gaining and not the subscribers. I don't believe in their motive here. And so for me, just bet on your own and just join on free groups and not the paid ones. You can gain some insights regarding their discussions and get the best out of it. They are not in anyway worth your sources to begin with.
