Something happened a few days ago. My friend joined a group where sports betting code is sent now and then, but whenever he chooses to bet, the game dont go in profit, while whenever he decides to pause, people win in the group. He then decided to be consistent. While being consistent, he had a series of losses from that same group, until he decided to stop gambling completely, only to see the recent code keep turning out to be a win.

Should he stay consistent or quit after so much frustration?

Gambling can never give anyone a consistent win. In the case of sports, some people can do very good analysis and do not understand which team can win. So it will never happen that he will win every bet. Gambling always depends on luck, we always believe this, but in some cases, if someone is dependent on others and places a bet somewhere according to other people's signals, it will be much more risky for him. First of all, even if he can win for a few days, he will never be in a long-term situation. So he should stop betting and if he wants to keep betting, then it is his own decision and he should bet as much as he can afford to lose.

Now tuis is one big mistake people make in life. For the fact that something is working and going well for Mr. A  doesn't really mean it will work dor you as well. You need to discover what works for you and how best you can go about it. A consistent playing a gamble can work for the rest who are winning regularly but you can decide to strategize the timing and type of games you play. Think it through properly before placing a bet who knows you might just be the next lucky one

Again, it’s not enough to be consistent, there are also other things that are required of you, like setting realistic expectations, this is very important because when your expectations are realistic, it’s also achievable and your chances of getting them are high but when your target is just insanely unrealistic, you automatically lower your chances of actually achieving that goal.
