Gcash x Google Pay

Hindi ko alam pero napansin ko lang today na available na ang Google Pay sa Gcash.





Sa pagkakaalam ko maraming pwedeng bayaran gamit ang Google Pay katulad ng:

• Mga paid apps sa Google Play
• In-app purchases (coins, items, game passes, atbp.)
• Subscriptions (YouTube Premium, Google One, apps, games)

So katulad ng ibang proceso, pipili ka ng items sa Google Pay then ang payment method ay Gcash.

Kakalaunched lang din kasi ng Google Pay sa bansa natin kaya integrated na siya sa iba pang mga wallet apps tulad ni Gcash. Katulad ni GoTyme ay integrated na din siya kay Google Pay. Kaya tingin ko lahat ng wallet apps pati na rin yung iba pang mga banking apps ay integrated na kay Google Pay kaya kahit hindi ko pa nagagamit yan at hindi ko gagamitin yan, malaking ginhawa yan sa madaming transactions online pati gusto cashless.

I've been using Google Pay since 2024 pero through linking my Maya debit card sa Paypal, which was also linked sa Google Account ko, not sure if that's the same thing, though. 
Basically, whenever I buy stuff in-game, the payment is made via Google Pay, which requests payment from Paypal, then Paypal requests funds from my Maya wallet. Yes, complicated siya pero nakasanayan na kasi.
This gets me thinking, this new feature ng GCash, is it more convenient than the one I'm used to? I hope they'll make these changes on Maya too.
