As every question I ask to others, I answer it myself first.
So,
I use bicycle as mode of transport because it gets the job done and reason being why this works out is having shopping mall for regular needs nearby, and highway as well to access public road transport (which I can use if I need to go where using bicycle won't be feasible).
It comes with minimal maintenance, doesn't require fuel, and if something happens it's inexpensive to fix. Also, I live a rather sedentary lifestyle so gets the body moving as well.
I must mention that in society I come from, it's not common for adults to ride bicycle so I do get this judgemental looks/behavior from others, and when it gets to much, I go to YT and watch dutch cycling culture videos to console myself.
Now, what about you? What mode of transportation you use? And why?
I honestly think it depends on your geographical area or even your country. As we all know, many African countries put very low emphasis on train travel from one state to another since they lack the infrastructure, funding, or technological innovation to make it possible, so people often prefer using flights.
This limits those who love train travel from fully enjoying it. It also makes them hesitate if asked about their preferred mode of transport. From my experience, this shows how external factors can restrict personal choice, even when passion or interest is strong.
I think It'll be preferable if you get your self an electrical bicycle since you're a fan of the bicycles mode of transportation. This one helps you by charging as you ride so you can just stay still while it rides and you only have to control it. That way, you can enjoy regular cycling even with physical or logistical challenges, and much attention wouldn't be drawn towards you.
