A good gambler who is particular about risk management practices would opt for wallets that offer privacy, speed and security as priority which should be separate from main savings or exchange accounts and with the buffer rule that involves not sending money directly from a major exchange to a gambling site wallet, such a gambler would be safer. Instead send from an exchange to a private wallet  and then to your gambling platform.

Wallets like Trust wallet, Exodus, Metamask, Phantom are good choices among hot wallets to daily use and speed, while cold wallets like Ledger Nano S plus/Nano X and Trezor safe 3 are good to protect ones winnings.
For real,Nano S plus/Nano X are Top‑tier cold wallets that keep your keys offline and safe from hacking.Great if you hold larger balances and want security first. These are good digital wallets that people use for gambling online. It especially depends on your choice wether it's cryptocurrency or traditional wallets, really featured and convenient for smooth transactions.
dude, if you know the history of ledger, you would not be saying they are "top-tier", their firmware is closed source and don't even get me started on the cluster fuck ledger recover they offer and how "safe" that is.
not to mention their customers information got hacked twice, so personally i would not recommend ledger to anyone.

Is a wallet even needed at all? I figured most people were sending crypto from their exchange directly to the online casino. Good to have trusted options though. Trust Wallet is a seemingly good choice.

I'm not familiar with the Web3 Casino you're referring to, but Trust Wallet is a trusted and widely used wallet, and SafePal is also quite good.
However, there are many options for choosing a trusted wallet, and the most important thing is not to connect your wallet to random casinos. It's best to set up a dedicated address for connecting to your wallet so that if something unexpected happens, your main wallet remains safe and unaffected.

I think Metamask is my top choice. Because sometimes on some sites that allow us to register only with our wallet, I use Metamask more often. Sometimes Trust Wallet. But I never use my real wallet, of course. Because I prefer to use a wallet that I use specifically for that purpose. I even separate my personal crypto wallet, which I install on a different gadget. I don't know why, but it's much more reassuring for me. Because we never know which sites are truly trustworthy and which aren't. The important thing is that we can connect quickly and that any process runs smoothly. But never forget about the security of your main personal funds in crypto. It doesn't matter which wallet you use. Because Trust Wallet or Metamask will be secure if we know how to secure our wallets.

I just don't trust that so-called trust wallet. That name alone makes it suspicious for me. Adding to the fact that it's closed source, and it's also now co-owned or completely owned by Binance. What they are doing behind closed doors users don't know. The only area which I like the wallet about is the fact that its have a very good and easy to use interface and is multiple coins/tokens supported.

Trust Wallet is okay, but I have a tip...

It's mainly for beginners. It's well-known, easy to use, and at least it's not too obscure. But it's worth remembering that, for gambling, it's best not to use your main wallet, you know? It's better to have a separate one just for that, with a small balance, to avoid headaches if something goes wrong. Popularity helps, but caution is never excessive.

Just a piece of advice.

The choice to take your operational wallet out of the main storage is a good technical solution in a decentralised ecosystem, which is compelled with risks. I find the utilisation of various gadgets as a good digital shield to malware attacks which sneakily search after the keys to privacy. We should understand that the balanced scorecard should not be sacrificed by ensuring that the transaction is smooth over the long run. We will be able to protect our equity by allocating access to the trustworthiness of the site to avoid being defrauded by any loss.

For those who engage gambling with web3 casinos linking their wallets, or those who deposits using alts, this is a good advice. Do not ever use your main wallet to do with gambling activities, just send from main to these gambling wallet. It's better safe than never, a little bit of inconvenience (sending wallet to another) won't be so bad.
For bitcoin deposits, using main wallet is just okay as long its from non-custodial wallet, not from custodial or any exchanges.

I think discussing open source alternatives is worth it. It isn't like we have limited options or that open-source wallets are hard to use. Not to mention, Trust Wallet popularity comes from Binance itself, so I don't think it's a good idea to rely on that. Even if you're a beginner, making a habit of using open-source apps is worth doing. Whether your goal is for gambling usage or something else.

I don't know exactly how you use your wallet for gambling

But if it's large amounts, I always recommend having a hardware wallet to generate your seed and use it in combination with a good wallet
I really like Metamask because it's an old, secure wallet that has been around for a long time

Even though some people don't like it and prefer newer, more sophisticated wallets, I still like Metamask for its security

I think your answer is closer to the practicality of OP's idea, since regardless of the type of wallet used, it doesn’t really help much with gambling. The security of funds is important, obviously, but adding ‘for gambling’ is confusing. Anyway, as you mentioned, Metamask is one of those popular wallets that come integrated with some casinos; in fact, it’s quite common.
