I don't know how much gambling can help with this (although I've heard of slot players experiencing something similar), but this is what is required in adulthood with an active life. As for adrenaline, I don’t need it, and yes, I want to avoid anxiety, being in a warring country, I have enough adrenaline and anxiety too.

I doubt that anyone really tries to put such meaning into gambling. Most people play in order to make money, and all other reasons are secondary. Gambling will not help you distance yourself from some unresolved problem, nor will you be able to reduce anxiety with a few bets. I disagree. I does not look right when people try to escape from stress into stressful activity. I have heard that people escape into video games, because they have open world, relaxing gameplay and chill music. But never though or heard that people chose gambling to escape. I think it's the poor, globally, who gamble the most. They want to try their luck or relieve stress. After all, poor people have far more stress than middle managers or businesspeople. Yes, I've thought that way myself, but when I do, it actually makes it harder for me to quit gambling, even though losses continue to occur more often than wins. Even now, if someone is still addicted to gambling, whether because they view it as a source of income, believe winning is a certainty, or something else, I'd understand it. But if it happened to one of my family members, I'd probably try to make them aware of their addiction.

You are right. Gambling cannot be a way to stay away from mental instability. Rather, gambling addiction often acts as a cause of mental stress. But if I talk about why people think this way or think that people go to gamble to get rid of mental instability, then what I think is that when people are mentally unstable due to some other personal problem, they resort to other mental instability to forget it, that is betting. Since from everywhere people suggest to gamble with cold head and clear mind, avoid taking reckless decisions, then how can gambling be the way to get rid of stress?
