There isn't how this big project will happen that the economy will not grow, we have watched how World Cup usually turn the country and help there economy, is also how this game could be, although one thing that can promote it is how fun it is, the name sounds very interesting already and a lot of people will consider having there vacation on the country so that they could watch the sports they have not seen before and definitely there would be some certain tickets people would need to pay before watching it and that is how the economy is getting large from this revenue the sport will be generating.

I'm not actually sure that every city sees the proclaimed benefits of hosting such regional events, it really depends how much it costs them to run everything. I can give an example for SEA Games event current Thailand as the host if Indonesia team failed reach the final difficult get high attention of Indonesia fans as usually have many fans will watch directly to final. Asian sporting event right now not really popular yet and I know will give much benefit for country as the host but if not top popular sport match difficult have many attention from fans will watch at stadium.
SEA Games at Thailand interested concept from that government giving free for the football fans if want to watch at stadium, I am so sad my team Indonesia can reach the final and eliminate since phase so I don't visit to Thailand.

Prior to now, j didn't know that Morocco is a cold country that has snow and a lot of good places one can visit but with the African cup of nation currently going on, it's possible to know some of those things and in the future, if you're considering an African country to go to, it becomes one of the first options you look out for. Of course, with such tournament comes a lot of spending to improve on the infrastructure of the nation which is actually a good thing on the other hand.

The truth is that, a country that is hosting a major event are not entirely doing it to boost the economy, because in most cases some of the revenues they get from events proper like advertising, people that visit for tourism, people that are coming to witness the event and including the jobs that are created during those seasons is not always enough to compare with the money that was spent for the preparation and planning the regional Olympics. For a country to host such an event, they are basically doing it out of Goodwill, and not necessarily to make money out of it, although they will make some revenue from it, but that is not the primary aim.

Your point is very realistic about  event management. As we know currently it's an economic strategy to make money from hosting events like SEA Games. If we work on one random event then through this large employee is increased in the construction and transport and service department. Through an event money can flow along with local people also. Through a Big event Host country may gain global visibility and through this it shows its culture and infrastructure to the world. So if a country has a planned infrastructure, clean roads obviously attract more people, so that's why countries compete to host such events through which they earn tourism and branding. So the learning point is that hosting events is also a strong and instant resource of income for any country and through events along with wealth its also shows its culture and infrastructure to the world.

I think there may be short term financial issues that may result into huge debts if a country decides to host a major sporting event, but the long term benefit may be evident when the infrastructure for hosting this event is properly managed after the event.
