Well, it almost took  the whole of the day before I was able to make this delicious okora soup and ogbono . However here are the stuffs I used in making this soup:

I decided to take my time to participate in the food contest. I decided to share the cat fish pepper soup which I prepared on the Xmas day here, it might not really the best, but at least i tried my best.

INGREDIENTS USED.
- Fresh cat fish.
- Pepper.
- Garlic.
- Turmeric(fresh and powder).
- Ginger(fresh and powder).
- Catfish pepper soup seasoning.
- Maggi.
- Salt.
- Vegetable.

Happy  Christmas 🎄 and a prosperous new year ahead to everyone, I would have posted this yesterday but it was a very busy day for me and my family, coming  from a family that invites alot of people over on Christmas, I had to attend to errands all day, cleaning,  washing, buying stuffs from the market and so on. Although i didn't cook this meal at home as I had to go back to campus, to complete a field study and also a case study, my family and uni has taught me well with food preparation, since in my family 3 boys came first and I'm the second and also uni cause I have to cook for myself since buying food won't cut the hunger in this country, so I would say cooking for me is a day to day activity and the contest was nice.

I PREPARED OGBONO SOUP WITH OKO LEAF AND A BEEF-CHICKEN PEPPER SOUP
INGREDIENTS:
For the soup:
1. Oko leaf
2. Crayfish
3. Chicken
4. Red oil
5. Ogbono
6. Pepper and onion
7. Maggi star
Swallow - Garri

For the beef chicken pepper soup 🍲
1. Beef
2. Chicken 🐔
3. Couldn't get utazi leaf so I used uziza leaf
4. Maggi star
5. Crayfish
 Served with a homemade agidi

Bellow is the overall cooking items while the dish is called "FISHERMAN SOUP (Native soup) which compromises of numerous seafoods.
Seafoods includes
Water snail, Periwinkle, Crab, Prawn, Crayfish, Catfish

Cooking ingredients includes
Cocoyam, Palm Oil, Onion, Pepper, Maggie, Salt and Uziza leaf.

The following steps is used to prepare this soup
1. Gathering of all items required, such as fresh fish, dried fish, stock fish, crawfish, fried chicken, primicle, red oil, vegetables , onion, salt, water, maggi, peppe and small spice.

2. The meat and all required element of the soup where washed and steam properly to get the best taste, as the picture explain more of the process.

Awwwww, this is lovely and I don't get to know about this on time else I would have participated, because on 25 December that's two days ago, I made pepper soup commonly know as white soup, and pounded yam. I made the pepper soup with some dried fishes, chicken that's the protein, and some seasoning. Too bad I didn't take a picture of it.

Why are you saying it like it's too late already? There is still like 20 days before the end of this contest which means that you still have time on your hands to join in with your own swallow and soup combo and stand a chance to be one of the winners at the end of the day, omor just because what you cooked on Christmas day didn't make it into the contest doesn't mean you can't cook something else that can.
