Do you actually believe what a review on a random affiliate site says today?

I'm guessing most of you don't. Most "top casino" lists are just a list of whoever paid the highest commission. The reviews are written once, stay there for three years, and the affiliate never actually touches the site again. They don't know if the withdrawals are still 5 minutes or if they’ve started taking 5 days.

We agree that the only real source of truth is the community, what people are actually experiencing now. That’s why we hang around here.

To fix this, WAGERX is introducing: Live Testing Notes.

Instead of a one-time "review," we are doing regular blind tests on the top casinos where the most players hang out. We focus on the most vital part of the experience: Withdrawals. We use different player accounts, deposit real BTC/ETH (no "test credits"), and log exactly what happens.

Well known casinos have not problems related silly delays on deposit and withdrawal (even for big amount). More or less they are acting really fast on this.

For sure there are many other issues (as many players gambling daily). I would focus more on "odds" / proof of funds / even player complaints that have not been addressed.

I don't agree. I receive daily messages from players who get stuck in KYC processes at so-called “no-KYC casinos”, or who experience withdrawal delays that last more than a day, when they should normally take no more than an hour. From direct experience, I know this is a very stressful issue for many players.

Regarding your suggestions to focus more on odds, proof of funds, or unresolved player complaints:

odds are a very complex area to verify properly, proof of funds is data that only operators can realistically access, and when it comes to player complaints, I believe we already have a strong solution on Bitcointalk. In my opinion, the Bitcointalk community is one of the best platforms available for handling and exposing player complaints.

Is this WAGERX a website or just the name of your service on the forum, asking because on the OP, I can't find any URL for it. The casino reviews that I trust is the ones done on this forum, I don't really trust those other review sites which could be biased in giving better ratings to any casino that pays them higher. Your service is good if you are going to be reviewing the casinos regularly to update any changes just like you stated, that would be nice.

The original idea behind that thread was to maintain a list of the best Bitcoin casinos. However, we’ve realized that static reviews are no longer enough. The casinos we list there will now be the first to receive our Live Testing Notes.

How it works: We go in randomly—almost daily—to perform blind tests. We aren't checking for..

I like the idea of live testing. Many no longer trust reviews. BTW, how do you intend to prove to people on the live that you are not testing from a demo or phishing account? How do you want to make them believe you are actually testing from the original platform?

I hope some members trust that we do this serious, we have been active in this forum since 2018 and have no interest to pretend to do someting.

maybe we can publish the transaction hash, the members can go and verify it, that would probably work

It is hard to build trust these days, given what people have faced.
Most people now know that casinos can pay for adverts and marketing.
The transaction hash will definitely convince a lot of people. While it will take more than just that to convince the rest.

Judging by the fact how affiliates tend to promote casinos that has the most offers and rewards for it's review, it still doesn't make casino reviews completely dead. But rather not be trusted independently without an extra personal research for more clarification. Because when checking a review about a casino review, it is always good to look out for recent uploaded reviews for a clearer understanding how the platform is currently operating, rather than relying on old reviews. Which is why this forum comes into play, as it has got active members who might have used the same platform and be ready to offer you their best opinion about the current state of the platform.
