The Most Expensive Durability Test

With the RAM and SSD market blowing up, with 2x 3x the previous price, I had to share this. Found this photo on Facebook, and it's probably the most painful thing to watch today. Apparently a 10 year old kid wanted to test the durability of his fathers SSD's, so he bent them all. The most expensive durability test I must say, and by the looks of it, none of the SSD's broke (split open) in half, a success..  

What's your take on this? What would have you done if something like this were to happen with you.

this is the kind of story you laugh about years later… after you’ve financially recovered. right now it’s pure pain. “most expensive durability test” is accurate. I’d probably just sit there in silence questioning my life choices before saying anything 😅

Probably testing something like a supercar, spacecraft, or server farm. Expensive durability tests usually involve extreme stress to see what breaks first. Makes sense — better to spend a ton in testing than millions on failure later.

The kid must have watched too many videos from JerryRigsEverything. Whenever his video comes to my feed, I quickly skip it as I cannot bear to watch thousands of worth of tech getting destroyed. Lol, jokes intended..

hardware gore , maybe with any example with IA video generator the father can show him what happen when you do that it feels bad for the damages

een enough SSD internals to know that the NAND chips are tiny, if the bend missed the chips they might survive, but the controller is probably toasted
