There is this trading influencer in Nigeria, he shows of luxury cars from Lambogini to Ferrari. His lambo was damaged by another popular streamer but he has now recently added a beautiful Ferrari to his fleet of luxury vehicles, the way streamers and traders are collaborating I don’t just believe them.

The cars is not the main thing, the trader opened a boot camp where he would lock in with anyone and change that person’s live true trading, he is collecting money for that although I know that they make more money from people by selling courses and things like this boot camp than they make from actually trading.

He is now having a series that he post on his instagram with him and a guy who is like many Nigerian youth searching for money and hope, he is locked in with this guy and he claims he will change the guys fortune.

 Why I don’t believe
1. Trading influencers do too much to entertain their followers that makes them more like social media actors than traders.
2. If he is so confidence about changing someone’s life he should be doing that to his family and people from his community, to his home town.
3. The lock in video is so entertaining that it just have to be scripted.

Selling courses is the means of generating passive income by most of them. I don't readily buy those books and just read since it may not convey the full experience and expertise of the trading expert if he is really genuine. Trading is not just something you read books and get profitable, It has a high learning curve, I prefer direct mentorship.

NO I don't, although I don't trade no more, but anything that has to do with influencers is taken by me with a pinch of salt. There are many scams that ensures from them, maybe you can post the link to his bio for us to peruse.

Before I lock on to a trading influencer, I must have a certain knowledge I intend to gain from them. I don't follow influencers because I want them to change my life by trading my funds for me, because I believe they can say anything when the money is lost and one would be left speechless or bankrupt because all their hopes relied on the profit from the trade they invested so much in, due to false believe in an influencer.
I believe anyone willing to go into trading should first take time to learn the basics and what it entails from the onset so as not to fall victim to influencers who knows their trickery in swindling or losing your hard earned funds.

I don't believe most of the wealth they pose with is legit for one and trading could just be a front for something much deeper than meets the eyes.

I don’t believe them as well, and from the comments of which more than half are generated their relevance in trading in diminishing. This trading influencers are serious with social media creating very interesting content that I think is entertaining watching but not smart to believe anything from it.
I think they are now going after the pay from the social media platforms for views and engagement.

They don't influence people because they really have the potentials to change their lives, but they are paid with that kind of job, so they will do everything to make the audience believe in them, even if claiming those massive wins and luxury cars or properties as their own, when we all know everything is sponsored by the platform owners.

Seriously speaking, they are just doing what their heads ask to, so I've no reason to believe them. And yes you are right, everything is scripted, even some of their winnings are fake but no ones knows that, only theirselves and the platform owners.

To be frank I don't believed on what I see online be it facebook, twitter, instagram or even tiktok I do not follow them. What you must understand about them is they could go to any extent in other to convinced their followers that they are actually living a good live that whatever they needs could be available for them whenever they needs it, most times some of things are being hired just to use them and show off.. I can also flash back how some content creators do hire some expensive vehicle just to shoot their videos and if you don't know you could think those cars are theirs without knowing they are all rented property. No doubt there is a good trader out there but they don't show off or even to impressed anyone rather they would hide themselves so that they wouldn't that too exposed so that they won't be adopted or being kidnapped.

I've been seeing lots of fake shit from influencers for engagement farming. With the AI boom, it has gotten more easier for them to edit pictures/videos. Guess what? they keep getting deals from some brands too lol.

Fake it until you make it isn't a myth, it's a thing these days especially with these so-called influencers but they're just for show and probably they'll feed you the social climber things. Take out the noise out of these people and life will be fine mind me. I'd probably follow the likes of Benjamin Cowen type of trading influencers, they feed you with learnings you can use through the course of your trading journey, this are the kind of trading influencers that really influence you.

They have products to sell and they flaunt those expensive cars that they have probably rent somewhere or borrowed it with their co-influencers. I am going to believe to the silent ones and not showy with the assets that they acquire with the profits they make either by trading or investing. We're in the era that many still believe with those fake influencers and acquired riches. People who are gullible are the ones they're targeting and that's why I don't solely with anything who shows their riches on social media and in the end will ask you to look after their online courses at expensive rates, to make people believe that they've got those from being profitable trader.

1. selling courses
2. selling bootcamp
3. refferal

And usually trading influencers in twitter or any social media use a simple trick to fabricate their profit screenshot which is opening two way trade and only screenshot the one that got profit.

Your doubt and reasoning is actually spot on and yes they're more of an actor than a trader. No trader spent too much time flexing on social media. Even the most sophisticated quantz that actually make money from finding edges and i'm talking about millions here never flex that much.

The number 1 is the most obvious red flag, they never went live with a real trading session but instead just flexing. They're willing to spent money to create that heavily edited reels so that they can extract money from you. The video is the first bait.

You just addressed him as influencer and that should be enough for you to know that he's surviving from that influencing and not trading. Those cars he's flaunting online are probably rent cars and not truly his own cars. They actually need those things for people to take them serious. Hence, they end up living fake lives on borrow property and funds to impress their community. Have you ever seen them displaying a live view of their trading where they make huge profit as they usually claim? That's to tell you there's more behind the scenes. They would convince them to fund their account with a huge amount of money, for example, $100,000. After receiving the money, they would transfer it to their personal account. Then, they would create a fake account showing fake trades and the losses and tell the person that they've lost the money. Sometimes, after so many threats from the victims, they may agree to repay $20,000 - $30,000 and keep the rest to themselves.

2. Get money from the gullible users through paid or VIP course
