A lot of speculations failed because even with Bitcoin hitting ATH this phase wasn't really stable for a long time before the dip came in. if the bull run lasted for a few more weeks we would have entered an altcoin season but sadly this didn't happen. The increase of altcoins depends on Bitcoin in most cases. we might enter an altcoin season this year but it all depends movement of bitcoin this cycle
