I have been involved in Bitcoin for a long time. And recently I came to know about this forum. I think if I join this forum, I will be able to gain more ideas or knowledge about Bitcoin. But I don't know anything about what I can do or what my limitations are as a complete newbie. In this case, I will be grateful if you give me an idea about the forum.

Op, you're welcome to the forum.  I love the fact that you’re asking these basic but necessary questions early instead of jumping straight into posting.

As a new member, the best thing you can do now is read a lot about bitcoin so you significantly improve your knowledge about it. In the forum, start by reading the threads in the  Beginners & Help board especially the pinned posts. You should also read and where necessary, engage in Bitcoin Discussion board. You should also read in the Meta board to improve your knowledge about the rules of the forum.

 As a beginner, I'll advise you avoid one-line replies, avoid spamming and don’t rush to post just to increase activity. If you already have Bitcoin experience, use it to add value where it fits. Quality posts get noticed here even from newbies.

You don get enough information from people wey don respond to the thread. My advice bi say make you take time dey observe how the forum dey operate. No bi everything you go see for the forum rules. Some of dem you go learn am by observation.

Make I give you one example, I dey observe say newbies dey go resurrect old posts. You see person go just go respond to post wey dey three months old and above. That one no make sense.

No bi must say you go respond to any thread. If you no get anything to talk read and pass. No go plagiarise or use AI to right post..

If you continue to the visit and read information for this forum, by God's grace you go sabi more about the crypto industry.

Being involved in bitcoin for a long time does not mean that someone have known the technical aspect of bitcoin which was what I suggested. He can be trading bitcoin in CEX all those while, or even investing in altcoins and holding in exchanges without knowing he was taking risk not storing his asset in wallet he control the private keys. If you come to this forum and pay no attention to understanding the technical aspect of bitcoin or how to select and use the right wallet, your contribution will never be the same with someone who understand these things.

In the last part of my comment, I mention the Meta board which will give him all the information he needs regarding this forum and the Beginners & Help section which is also helpful for beginners. I don't know what you see wrong in my comment.

Although this forum big but e no too big depending on how you see am but surely you go soon understand as everything dey go with time if you are dedicated to read and learn. You don already see links wey guys don drop for your thread. Follow those links. In fact marry them as if your life depend on it and in short you suppose embrace them like a survival robe wey dem throw for you inside water make you take swim come outside. The reason is because bitcoin is becoming the new normal that people are now hodling, so to follow in the trend concerning anything about bitcoin and cryptocurrency won't be a bad idea including learning about the technology and bitcoin economy or ecosystem.

As previously said by some other members, the beginner & help section is a wealth of information about everything to do with the forum.  It is one of the best resources for newcomers to the forum and helps promote a less stressful introduction to the forum.

All "newbie" limitations are really just minor issues that restrict your ability to post and use signature features.  Once you have spent time on the forum and developed a rapport with members of the forum, those restrictions will eventually disappear.

Before posting a new question, I would recommend searching the forum first.  There is a high probability that your question has been asked previously, and there are potentially years worth of quality responses to your inquiry available in the forum.

Dont feel intimidated about being a newbie; everyone else on the forum has already gone through the same process as you are currently experiencing.  Jump in, review some of the pinned posts, and reach out if you need assistance.

Since you have already been involved in Bitcoin, understanding the forum will not be a big challenge for you.
You can just go around topic and see the once you can relate to and have experience on then you shear you experience, to help other with the necessary knowledge they need to get better in the Bitcoin investment.

The best advice i can give is from what I experienced as a new member to the forum is that you need to understand that forum need you to give it something valuable from you to grow fast.

That is the reason you need to understand and have a fair or convincing knowledge of bitcoin before you can involve your self in a conversation.

Do not involve your self on discussion that you do not have knowledge of about most especially on the technical  board else you will tagged that one who spread false and unhelpful information on the technical board.

Just focus and learn from the forum and also try to share your learning experience and also ask questions that are reasonable when you are lost.

There's a whole lot you can get to learn here on this forum, firstly I will advise you explore the sticky post here on this board and then proceed to checking out the sticky threads on the beginners nad help so that you will get proper guidance on how to explore the forum and how not to be a defaulter of the rules, after that, you may proceed to studying some threads that are relevant to you on the Bitcoin Discussion Board, Trading and speculation Board, there you will gain a good amount of knowledge that will help you through your Bitcoin journey here in this forum, you can aswell begin to make quality contributions after learning enough and you rank up to the point of earning from signature campaigns when you rank up enough to join one. There's a whole lot you can stand to gain here in the forum.
