In what I have read about your post, it means that we will definitely become addicted to gambling no matter how we try not to because we are already doing what we find pleasure in, whether for the money we will get as profit from gambling or from the satisfaction we get while betting on new games. Yes, there are other fun activities that can even be recreational, gambling is not only what can be do for fun. You are very right about this and I accept. I am not gambling consistently or maybe I will say I am not gambling frequently but just one or two times in a week in a way that if I lose or I win, I will stop gambling. So maybe that is consistent but lesser than moderator but mild and not frequent. What I am really against is frequent gambling.

I think, even people that are not also gambling so much for the profit can also be addicted, the problem is that they are just always unsatisfied with the thrill and fun that they are getting from it. it’s not always about greed/money. A lot of people really think gambling addiction is just about wanting to get rich fast but for many it starts as something harmless like stress relief or just passing time. Many gamblers don’t even realise they’re slowly depending on it emotionally. When life gets heavy the brain looks for something familiar that gives comfort/excitement & gambling easily becomes that shortcut. Replacing it w/ healthy activities is really the key but it’s not easy at all, it takes time, discipline & sometimes support from others, awareness is already the first step.

Good point, i know someone that got addicted even though he started out as a responsible gambler, he only used small stakes to chase little wins but after a while he started staking huge amounts so he could make bug profits..Some addicts didn't show any interest in wanting to get rich fast, gambling addiction can start gradually and a person can start losing control with realizing that it is becoming an habit

I understand that gambling is a passion where a person's motivation shifts and flows from one to another. Yes, that's right, because it's a complex phenomenon that psychologists have poorly studied. The thing is, many people come to gambling simply to laugh and have fun, but as soon as they win a small amount, their motivation changes.

people have different reasons why they gamble and those reasons can be responsible for gambling addiction..some chase dopamine ruhs which at first wouldn't seem like much of a big deal to them until they end up getting overly hooked because of what they are chasing..I don't gamble to use it as an escape or a way to feel better, I always tell people to engage in other things to distract their minds
