Why the dependency on AI when human predictions can do the same thing that can give more accurate result.
The dependency on AI can cause bigger problem to gamnlers because they may be tempted to use bigger amount to play the bet and still lose their money. If the dependency on AI increase maybe due to the possiblity of gamblers making profits from many of the AI predictions, it can get to a time when everything will spoil and gamblers will be losing money because most of this games are not based on human factors. Even the casino giving the odds do not know if the expected outcome might changes.

You're right about that, before relying on luck it is very important to know what we are doing because we can't just gamble randomly and be expecting luck to come when we did not even make a way for luck to come. However, the strategy and the tactics we apply in gamble is just to make way so that luck can easily locate us, those who are gambling just because it is said that gambling is a luck based might gamble from now till next year without getting something positive. And sometimes when they see people making wining in gamble they keep asking themselves why is thier own case looking different from other gamblers? A perfect example showing how AI prediction is not necessarily needed to pass a game instead self study and analysis can do a better job. The last time I tried using AI for prediction purpose I lost the game including my capital as well, I’m not sure if trusting the AI was the right thing basically believing confidently in AI can result to losses.

Correct scores is very difficult to predict and i must say that in sports betting, among all the market options that are available to stake on, correct score is the hardest and anyone who focuses on betting on it will surely be losing a lot of money and it is more like a guess work unlike the other options we analyze before staking at bet on them. It's essential to consider this at every stage of our game. If I rely too much on luck, I don't stick to my strategies, but I know that in the casino, everything depends on luck, and when I play games like dice, roulette, and slots, strategies and tactics Don't work.  In those cases, I do rely on my luck. I don't understand at all how a large language model can at least predict something correctly in sports betting. It's meant for something else entirely. AI has many different architectures for different tasks. Previously, they were even decomposed into separate sections on HF. So the models mentioned by the OP in the launch post are LLM. Try to force them to play chess against the dumbest chess engine (also a kind of AI) and they will all lose. It's the same with predictions - they don't know how to evaluate options. All these LLMs are just parrots (but very well trained). By the way, this was stated not so long ago by Yann LeCun.

Alright. To the best of my knowledge, certain AIs are superior to others in a particular field. It is just like simply using ChatGPT to produce an image when there's another AI that can produce a high quality image for you than using ChatGPT.

Yes, it's better to use your own judgment when betting. After all isn't that fun? Our goal in gambling is to have fun and the results of our own judgment have a different feel than relying entirely on AI for betting.

Besides relying on AI for betting isn't entirely accurate. AI can be used only to research the history of the two teams' meetings and other strategies to strengthen one's own analysis before making a decision. I don't like using AI to predict a match because for me trusting my own predictions is more enjoyable and satisfying regardless of the outcome.

Basically AI has nothing with future predictions, it's trained to learn from published works, using it as an assistant in analysis is great because of the power it has at scrapping information pertaining to the prompts it receives from users, players can then leverage from the fast process instead of doing the manual research themselves, and come to a conclusion of what they feel to be the right prediction. It is true that AI can only be used as a tool to find additional information more quickly, but it cannot be used to make decisions. AI does not have feelings, so it cannot understand a team ambitions, mentality, or factors such as player fatigue. In addition, AI only presents a team performance based on available data, and if you forget to instruct it to review the history of rivalries, AI will not take that into account when providing information.

I agree that AI cannot be fully relied upon. If there are gamblers who frequently bet on sports, they must learn to analyze odds on their own. I think relying entirely on AI analysis is almost the same as trusting someone else analysis and then following their betting patterns.
