I think whoever is too afraid to invest in Bitcoin because of the risk doesn't understand Bitcoin well. If you have an understanding, you will be aware of the risks in Bitcoin, which you don't need to be scared of. Bitcoin is very volatile, and if you must invest in it, you should be thinking of the long term and invest an amount that you can afford to lose.

 If you are not doing this, it means you are going about it the wrong way, which means you are taking a risk that can cause you to be at a loss. Get an understanding, and you don't have to be afraid to invest in Bitcoin.

You should do well to edit the topic so that you don't get people confused. I believe you want to write risk and not 'rick' so you should try and edit it, so that other will not be confused the same way I was when I saw the topic.

Some body that is not yet to take risk because he's scared to lose his money, will not make more money unless he changes his mindset. In life everything is risky, even to sleep is risky, so why not him invest what he can afford to risk?
If he is scared to invest huge amount of money into Bitcoin because of the risks, then investing small money will not be risky too.

Folks aren't meant to be scared away from Bitcoin coz it feels risky, dong so feels so lame. Yes we very well know that Bitcoin may be quite risky due to its volatility and that it doesn't guarantee us any kind of profit, but then tell your friend to take a look at the history of Bitcoin, how folks has been profitable while investing in it, that should do the convincing...Life itself is filled with risk starting from our daily activities like eating, playing, sleeping, down to even the businesses that we venture into, all has risks attached to it. And if folks are not ready to take the bull by the horn, by facing that facing the risk,instead of running away, they may not be able to make any profit or even do anything coz as I said earlier, everything in the life is risky.

Well if I may say not everyone is willing to risk what they can afford to lose because most of them don't actually want to risk it , why because they are scared that they might end up losing their funds. To me it's all about financial principles and planning. You must not invest in Bitcoin it's just a choice. Bitcoin is not the only good form of investment out there but it is also one of the best. Being able to invest in Bitcoin requires personal choice and understanding of how it works so you don't fall in the hands is scammers.
Avoid things like convincing people to invest in something like Bitcoin that is volatile because of the end up losing their money or getting scammed they will later blame you.

I get you, honestly any investment comes with risk, whether it is bitcoin or stocks or eve a regular business. Understanding the risk, doing your research and invest wisely is usually the key. If you never take any risk, you might miss out on opportunities but that doesn't mean taking unnecessary risk blindly is smart. Start small, learn as you go and gradually increase your exposure. the goal is to grow your wealth safely while being prepared for Ups and downs.

I think if your friend wanted to invest for the long term, he would not be so afraid of taking risks. Suppose there are two people and they will invest the same amount of money, but one is long term and one is a one-time investment. In this case, you will see that the person who is making a one-time investment or trading will be a little afraid because if the price goes down, he will lose a large amount of money, but the person who invests the same amount of money little by little over a long period and plans to continue it for the long term, the market fluctuations will not be able to hurt him much. Risk is also a part of every investment moreover if you're not ready to risk it then you aren't ready to make it because only the risk takers celebrate at the end, but not every risk is worth taking, their are some risk that is not worth taking because it could be very obvious to was doom, before taking any risk as an investor always check and balance it if their is a higher possibilities of  achieving success before taking it otherwise you better back off to avoid lost.

Of the truth, anybody way hear of bitcoin and just jump in to invest in am dey always regret bcos dem no consider the risks about the market sentiments bfor dem invest their money there but just tink say a common market after hearing from people and reading news about how people dey make richness there.

I understand that there is no business that does not have some level of risk involved, including Bitcoin. But I have noticed that some of the person pushing this narrative of Bitcoin being risky do not even know what they are saying because they cannot explain the risk involved, investing on Bitcoin. If you chose the right wallet and store your Bitcoin safely then you just have to HODL and the risk will almost be eliminated. Bitcoin is only risky when you store your Bitcoin in a wallet you did not control the private keys or you are buying for short term gains.

I think people are afraid of Bitcoin just because people don't know what it is.  People take more risks in normal businesses,  in which they'll buy an item and sell it or take out a loan from a bank and even start something with no clear plan,  but if you mention Bitcoin, suddenly risk becomes a problem. If people think bitcoin is really risky based on the description, then yeah they are going to see it as a risk.

For me,  I don't think risk is the issue, because every move you take in this life comes with risk.  The reason why Bitcoin is different,  is because Bitcoin doesn't hide it. Bitcoin shows you the ups and downs in real time and that makes people uncomfortable. But the truth is if you actually take your time to understand what you are doing and if you don't invest blindly, then you'll see that the risk becomes manageable.

People want to make money without any risk or stress,  they just want assurance before they act,  but that is not how the world works.  People don't really understand that even a normal business have people that are losing money every single day and thousands of businesses will fail, yet nobody is using that as an excuse to avoid business completely.

You can't blame him for been afraid, anxiety is a norm when you want to try something new and this thing invokes money you have saved up for sometimes. It may not be for sometime but you don't want to make a great mistake. It's norm for a new person to try something new and get some fears, it's your responsibility to encourage the person, tell the person somethings about Bitcoin and how important it will be for him if he do the investment.

I will like you to extend that advice by telling him the consequences of the investment, tell him to not buy Bitcoin with money he can't afford to lose. So he doesn't have high expectations from buying and holding Bitcoin. Sincerely speaking when it comes to Bitcoin investment I don't see much risk there, so I see no reason why some will be afraid to invest in Bitcoin that less risky compared to other investments. A real Bitcoin investor with Long term mindset has nothing to fear, be it volatility or what ever, just be consistence in accumulating bitcoin with your leftover money (discretionary income) using the DCA method and then hold for long term, and also ensure to use a safe and a secure Bitcoin wallet for storing your Bitcoin, build your emergency fund and back fund.
