So as the year is coming to an end, I decided to check for current trading competitions that's ongoing, incase anyone would like to check it out, note, this isn't a financial advise of any sorts,.

Top Ongoing Trading Competitions (as of December 21, 2025)

Ranked by prize size, number of traders, and platform popularity.

1. Bitget Trading Club Championship (Phase 22)
An active spot and futures trading event focused on trading volume and team performance. Traders can earn up to 1,250 BGB, plus extra token rewards like ZETA and mystery boxes. Rewards depend on both personal trading results and club performance.

2. ZOOMEX Fair Play Cup
A futures trading competition running from December 15–31, 2025. The prize pool starts at 50,000 USDT and can grow to 100,000 USDT as more traders join. Rewards are shared based on trading performance.

3. YEX Christmas Futures Trading Championship.
A holiday-themed futures contest open until December 31, 2025. It offers 21,000 USDT plus DOGE in prizes. The competition is open to all traders, and rankings are based on trading results.
LiteFinance 20th Anniversary Challenge
A long-term trading challenge covering forex and crypto markets, with total prizes of over $1 million. The final stage runs from December 22–31, 2025. Traders earn points through trading activity, tasks, and referrals, with automatic entry for eligible users.

Note:
There are other events, such as weekly demo trading contests, are also available. Always check official exchange websites for exact rules, dates, and eligibility, as details may change.

Cool finds. That Bitget one's been running forever, seems solid if you're already on there. The ZOOMEX one is interesting with the scaling prize pool. Always check the fine print though some lock your funds or have crazy volume requirements. Good way to end the year if you're trading anyway.

Yeah that one is like a series, curenrtly on phase 22 and probably because the requirements are easily achievable plus it's flexible.. yeah thanks for the tip, WHICH one could entice you to join?.

Since you said it was ranked by multiple factors, I assume you counted them before making the list? I think presenting those information on a table or something would be nice. Especially something like "platform popularity," which is not as straight a prize size. I think most people prefer something like that instead of a paragraph of explanation for something like this. Just my 2 cents.

Competition in demo account? Are you sure? This is the very first time that I am seeing an useful information from a trading competition related topic because people keep opening topics after topic on trading competition across boards of this forum, but most of them are looking like promotions to exchanges.

This is really making sense to me. Because this way, traders will not be risking their own money for the reason of competition but they will be getting chances to prove their trading skills.

I believe this must be the right way of hosting competition in exchanges. This also sounds like they are looking for a skilful trader rather than looking for commission from every trade happens in competition.

Could you provide more information on exchanges where the demo trading competition are happening. I am sure that would be more helpful for many aspiring traders here.

The only reason it makes sense to participate in such a competition in December here is that you are not risking your own money, because losing money in December can hurt more than losing money in some other months because of the many expenses of the month and also in January.
If you had to use your own money, I would have advised against engaging in such competitions at this time of the year, when you should be resting and reviewing your year to know what you did right and what you did wrong in trading to avoid in the new year, and also mentally preparing/planning for the new year; it should not be the time to put yourself under the pressure of a trading competition.

I have come across such type of recruitment with few forex brokers. A gambling house will not hire a talented gambler for a native game (but possible for a third party game), but an exchange may prefer appointing a skilful trader but not sure that kind of things are happening with crypto exchanges.

Basically I never thought a trading completion is hosted for this purpose still talent may get recognition at any where as it deserves.

I have experience of participating in trading competition but that was about reaching certain volume, your profit or loss not even considered. So, skills on technical got no role there.

This year's December has been quite fill with different trading competitions and the good is that it is open for both retail traders and the big boyz in the trading ecosystem because in the past most of these competitions is mostly dominated by the whales with large trading volume and retail traders are always left behind but at least platforms like LiteFinance, Zoomex and YEX are giving all traders at all levels a chance to win something big, it doesn't matter if you are trading spot, futures or even a forex trader, there will be a big chance to get a good prize for yourself.

Am sure the newbie traders can participate also and they won't be same old novice that entered the competition because the experience alone would have sharpened their minds and made them learn faster from their mistakes as well as from the experience of others and it would be a great opportunity to know a good mentor to follow and be open to learn from them, Incase they are generous to share their reachable social handles.

That kind of real exposure teaches way more than theory ever will. Plus, it’s a good chance to spot traders who actually know what they’re doing and maybe find a solid mentor to follow. If those people are generous enough to share insights or even their socials, that’s a big win.

I have not participated on a trading completion of recent, not that I can't compete but it is not something that is worth the stress for me. Such competitions can lead to reckless trading which result in a burnt account. The circle can continue until you lose more than the reward you are aiming for in the competition.  This is the reason I prefer to grow my account instead of chasing a prize whose cost may ne too big.

If we measure these challenges against the number of participants, your chance of winning them seems slim. Therefore, I think it is difficult to win these challenges compared to the challenges that are in the forum (which usually come with an escrow).
Therefore, it is best to limit the list to the forum's challenges.

Yes, for novices it is an opportunity to see an exposure to different ways of thinking and operating; it makes it possible for them to observe how more experienced traders manage risk and how they structure their entries and exits. For novices, this type of competition can represent a push to accelerate their learning curve.

You're right, but only a competition with favourable terms can enable you express yourself, you can check out this one TCC phase 24 since the market is green at the moment, it's gaining a lot of attention
