These are Edmonton figures.   Further up north they haven't seen the sun for a few weeks already!

I suspect most Europeans here will understand, but unless you live in Alaska, US citizens don't get to experience weeks of depression.  :/

Usually wondered why certain people say winter makes them depressed. I assumed was due to poor yield in farms(animals) during the season. Looks like the lack of sun is one of the major reasons. Mild sunlight esp in the morning seems to lighten up ones mood
