The creation of bitcoin has granted us freedom from the bondage of fiat currency which is being controlled by our federal government and central bank, and I think such a person deserves an accolade. Many of us here have benefited immensely from bitcoin, which is a product of this influential figure Satoshi Nakamoto. Many have been enriched by Satoshi Nakamoto and Bitcoin, turning little investment into fortune and the benefits still continues.

Bitcoin today is a leading investment in the world economy, surpassing any other asset when it comes to return of investment (ROI). This is somebody's effort and great idea.

In the world today, people are being remembered and celebrated for one reason or the other, either for their great works or for keeping good legacy and Satoshi Nakamoto and Bitcoin deserves such remembrance and celebration.

Bitcoin has come a long way, growing from a penny to thousands of dollars and still full of great potentials and trust from investors all over the world .Considering the status of bitcoin today, it is far beyond disappointing investors.

IMO buying bitcoin or using bitcoin as payments methods is a way of celebrating Satoshi. I don’t think there is a greater celebration in this case than bitcoin adoption and naija board has been doing that since inception.

You are right that a forum like this exists which is solely dedicated to sharing and informing people about the great work done by Satoshi is a prove that his work and effort is not left remembered. I don't see any level of celebration that should be equal to that, of keying into the very reason behind the creation of Bitcoin. Today in Nigeria Bitcoin is on the rise this is evident in the rise in the numbers of crypto currency related payments methods, this should be the best celebration to me because there are people who celebrate for the purpose of celebrating but the reason for the celebration is not reflected in the way that they live.

Everyday on the forum, as forum users continue to engage in forum discussion and speak positive about bitcoin, that's a way of also celebrating satoshi as well as his idea, Bitcoin.  its not untill we set out a certain day maybe on the local board and tag it satoshi day before the world will know our stand on bitcoin.

For me, every time I buy bitcoin, I'm in the process celebrating bitcoin either directly or indirectly. The bitcoin pie and pizza days and the bitcoin art contest as well as other bitcoin related celebration campaigns are enough ways we've been using to celebrate bitcoin and the man behind it.
