Why do you need creative and abstract ideas?  Why not simple?  Pay them well and dont be a nightmare to work for.  People work for a paycheck, not your "vision."  If you want them to care about your company as much as you do, give them something in return.

Just give them a fair compensation and good benefits, that will make them stay in your company. Sometimes, we deny or not, the efficiency of one's job depends not only on how you treat them, but the amount of salary they are going to receive at the end of the month plus incentives maybe, that will make them more motivated to keep working in your company. Just do what you promised to them, then they will also stick with you.

I would like to ask a personal question about when an entrepreneur should look for employees. What is the right way to retain them and keep them interested in your company? I appreciate creative and abstract ideas.

I depends on the market, for most situations and economies it would be enough just to pay them fairly according to their level of responsibility and hours worked.
Also, if one as boss is able to provide them with some benefits, like a good health insurance, that will definitely take an important role on keeping them within the company. Though, I can understand that not all companies are big enough to other those benefits to their employees at the beginning, so dont be surprise you cannot retain your employees at first.

You should also look for what employees expect by taking a look at their linkedin profiles, according to whatever industry you want to get yourself into.

Give them some performance related pay that is linked to the growth of the firm.  If its a fast startup they should not want to leave while believing in the product.
   Ideally employees are motivated to do far more then just carry out a task but want to see any losses avoided as its their pay going down the drain if that continues.
