I have lost way more than that amount, let say around $250, but there is also a time I won $350 on a bet, so if you checked well you will see that I am still at profits, if profits and losses is what we use to judge how gambling have been fun then I will be in the same category as you gambling this year have been fun for be unlike previous year.

There was one time when my friends and I were in a drinking session while talking some stuffs about business and everything. Lots of mistakes. I think it was when I started playing slots. I got so angry that I didn't think twice before making a decision to deposit over and over again. Thankfully, I take a good look at my kids, and that's when I realized that I am spending way too much time in slots. Gambling mistakes on my end? Nah, I can't think of any this year. I am well within my betting range and not forcing anything or being too frustrated and chase losses. Though sometimes I tried chasing once or twice, but If I can't pull another win, then that's my cue to call it a day.

My mistake is that sometimes, I try to double my bet on a game that I feel it's 100% sure, the outcome ends up being the opposite. That has made me avoid chasing big wins but stick to small wins even if I know that the chances of winning the game is 99%.

Many of my gambling sessions this year were good at the beginning, but I got too greedy & wanted more money so in the end it all went down to my deposit balance. I think I should be more careful in my next sessions, when it has good results at the beginning, it is better to withdraw first & leave a little to satisfy my curiosity.

$500 for a whole year? Well I don't know your pocket but that is far too low amount to gamble with even though gambling is for passive income. Some months I spend more than double of that to gamble, depending on the fixture for the month and the money that come my way. Well, we are playing for different purpose, some exclusively for fun and some for passive income, so its up to everyone to play with what they are comfortable with.

I don't remember making serious gambling mistakes in 2025 because I plan my gambling before execution, so nothing comes to my by surprise. However, I want to do better in 2026 because I have not really hit my target just yet. I'm still analyzing the areas I need to improve in my gambling.

It's not hard to make mistake in gambling, I'm not sure what's my 2025 gambling mistake but I think my overall mistake was thinking that I could earn from gambling. I've read in some article that there are people who earn for a living and I actually tried that but not for a living but for another source of income but instead of earning, turns out I am losing more than winning and I spend some of my extra money in gambling instead of adding it in my investment. To OP, it's nice to know that you haven't done any mistake this year, I think you've realized it when you know that you are in overall losing. If you can keep what you're doing, there's no doubt that you'll make mistake, as long as you're aware of what's right or wrong decisions.

Not making any mistakes during this year because it is gambling responsibly means that what has been lost in gambling games is ready to bear the risk, even though it is not a large amount in each game session, only a small amount of money is deposited.

If calculated deposits for 1 year may be a lot but just don't want to calculate it let this be a pleasure that passes in 2025. So far I have not experienced any financial disturbance, this is still well maintained, which means that during gambling for 1 full year it is still under control.

You basically use my strategy, no more than $10 a week and no more than $40 a month, by summing up I got a "profit" of about $400 and spent in a year about $220 I didn't get rich:) I still had fun and didn't lose any money, Maybe one day I'll be able to get a big win and maybe that'll be the moment I finish playing for good.

Mine was a trivial mistake. I used the money I wanted to use for something else to gamble. It was a very small amount though, an amount I can afford to lose. I felt I could double the money. So I looked for a match that had a 90% chance of winning. I placed a bet, thinking I would win, and I lost.

I had to go source for money elsewhere to take care of the need.

Part of being responsible and disciplined when it comes to gambling! is to try and keep the activity as small as possible & under control as well, losing as little as you can afford to lose is the main goal of every risk taker, so it can't be classified as a mistake but a necessary part of the game. Where most of the problem comes from, is when gamblers start to use their fund which is generally made for other life necessities! such as food or house rent. A good way of gambling for fun is exactly that, keep your balance small but be very consistent in it. There is the usual problem here that is you don't know how will you react when this 10 dollars become 1000 dollars in one of the weeks you gamble, will you withdraw at least half of the money which would be the same as if you did not gamble at all or will you continue gambling and if this the second option is what you do then there is high risk. By risk I mean you without knowing if you increase your exposure to gambling then you can become somewhat addicted and all that self control is directly gone. My biggest mistake has always been the same and is called insanity because I do the same things expecting different results.

When it comes to gambling, I participate in gambling very thoughtfully. I never participate in gambling by being overly emotional and overly restless. However, 2025 was not a very bad year for me, especially in terms of gambling because I used a very small amount of money in gambling like you, which means that I do not regret losing money. I guess my common mistake or the one I regret this 2025 is those bets I didn't increase when I should have. Cause the rewards might be juicy if only I believed in it. But sometimes it's really hard to risk or bet higher when you don't know that you'll win, but it's also not good to left out if your instinct already say go for it. Maybe not following my guys is one the mistake I had this 2025. Merry Christmas chad.
