I do not have any gambling mistakes this year, I do not lose up to $100 but I used around $500 to able which is around $10 weekly. I think that is not bad at all. The little amount of money I use on gambling makes gambling fun for me. I gain in some bets and casinos games but there are time that I lose also. In overall, I am in loss this year but it is nothing that I should think about at all as I can afford to lose the little amount of money.

Just like you, for me i don't have any graven mistake i made that i will want people to learn from in the year 2025, i was more of a careful gambler an made sure at every point i was gambling with that which i was sure i will be able to loose without been affected, more like gambling with that which i can afford to loose. May be i should just say this, regardless of the purpose for which you are gambling, make sure not to gamble with a amount that you will find uncomfortable to loose so that if eventually you win, you are safe and if you loose you still have no cause for alarm. Gambling should at no point be your last resort to make money or get money doubled so that you can sort bills as you will get disappointed a great number of the times you attempt this. One of my good point about gambling this year was how i was able to reduce my frequency with how often i visited the casino even when al it take was just a click on my phone, that helped me reduced my addictive tendencies drastically.

I was once at a point where almost most of my salary was spent on gambling but for this year (actually from last year, it's just that this year is more optimal) I can control myself from spending on gambling because it's not as extreme as before.

In addition, I am also less obsessed with gambling because I used to gamble almost every day but for now I even gamble when I just want to feel the thrill and that is much more able to minimize not only in terms of time but in terms of expenses that I feel.

Well for me I guess I'm the type that gambles mostly in my local currency.. it's usually much easier for me to place deposit on my casino account using my local currency so I don't spend much on gambling using usdt. But then I'm not sure I have some mistakes this year in my gambling.. any mistakes like that I'll consider a financial mistake and as for gambling, I don't regret ever being a part of it.. most times we tend to get carried away with our gambling activities and bet way too much than usual.. only after we make loss we then realise this.. 2025 is a very long journey for us especially for gamblers, I personally didn't have any major mistakes this year, everything went well and orderly that's for sure because of implementing responsible gambling and minimizing risks at the budgeted spending limit for gambling, everything looks more fun right said OP, this year also in the accumulation definitely counted losses but it was within the pre-determined settings, I don't remember how many times I got lucky in the games I played at the casino but everything went well even though the total was minus, I need a big win before this year ends.

Rest of the mind can actually turn out to be counterproductive since you get too optimistic when faced with a risk that may be of considerable importance. I have observed how availability of money by other earnings leads to an impulsive need to put efforts to your luck without necessarily having to think. Our alertness tends to take a hit whenever we believe that we are on winning streak hence making imprudent decisions. We should know how to hold back our newly found capital lest it is squandered through our overconfidence.

I don't make any mistakes in gambling, but I made a common mistake in 2025 when depositing into my gambling account. I originally deposited $105 to the wrong address when I was making a deposit to bet. I made no mistakes this year except for this $105 mistaken deposit. Mistakes are not limited to the beginners but it's true that if we tell them our experiences that they should have limits and don't do it for the money, they might avoid losing that much and commit mistakes. It is the mistakes that we've done before and that's about chasing the losses, thinking that gambling is a good source of income like for doing it for part time. But it is not and that has to sink in to someone who has realized it for so long. I don't have that much mistakes in gambling for this year, maybe only about the budgeting when sometimes I overbudget and do it unplanned when I'm in a losing streak, I simply deposit even if it's already out of my budget.

One mistake I see a lot is people increasing their bets after a few wins thinking they are on a streak that mindset usually ends with giving everything back your approach sounds healthy because you already accept losses as part of the game.

My mistake this year? Thinking I could win on roulette using the Martingale
strategy or my version of it but I really succumbed to the "Gamblers Fallacy"

You’re right on this. I’m not aware the first time I experienced this but due to circumstances that push me to play on this specific time frame then I realized that there’s something on my state of mind during this period.

Right now, I’m too strict not to play on this time which is the current when posting this since I already have funds on my casino yet I choose to browse the web instead.

Thank you for this thread bro, what you have said is absolutely the truth, we all should as much as possible do all we can to avoid making gambling mistakes that will put us in a very tight corner financially.

I personally I'm happy for this year as well, I can't remember making any rash gambling decisions that lead to any gambling mistake this year unlike 2023 when I lost some money that later had a big negative impart on my finances all through that year 2023 and 2024.
This year, I really took gambling for fun unto another level, I spent the less amount of money I've never spent before, basically below $80 spent on gambling all through this year, yes, I am in loss as well but happy because I had fun playing all the games I engaged myself in this year, but I am hoping next year will be a lot better as well.

Fortunately, I think I have not committed any meaningful mistakes on casinos this year, since I have not lost any significant amount of money to my bad luck.
If there is something I regret, is playing blackjack some night for fun (not staking anything) and I ended up wasting a good luck streak, I managed to defeat the dealer like three times in a row and I could have gotten a boog amount of money had I risked my entire week bankroll inna single seat, but again... I chose to play for the sake of fun...

Mine has to do with not betting the codes I used to be sent at the earliest quarter of this year as I was more into casino games than sportsbetting and now even though I fully participate in sportsbetting, I don't use big amounts and when I get a cashout option, it seems like it isn't much because I was always trying to play it safe and use a smaller amount instead of doing it the way my friends do by using big amounts so as to get a bigger bonus.
Am still learning not to repeat the mistake of betting with a wild guess instead I make deliberate efforts to pick out the games I can and intentionally it yields more benefits than just wild guesses.
