The Degree Is Losing Its Power;Can Universities Still Be Trusted?

Sure they worth to be trusted, I know alot of person's come from the school of thought that says "School is scam" forgetting that it actually did a great working on them in boosting knowledge, gaining confidence and so on. Yes in the global world now so many technology skills have tried to prove otherwise that they are better of than a proper education but they still can't replace the part or role school invest in an individual, so with or without such mindset degree can't actually lose its a value or power.

Universities are giving thousands of degrees and these degrees are not giving anything to these people because most of the people are getting degree but no skill to do work in a field because when a person want to earn money in any field, degree should be helpful but actually it is not true because we are watching millions of people who have degree because they want to take degree to become so called an educated person. People are different kind of jobs after taking the degrees and they are doing work in a special field. People are doing job in many fields but I think degree with skill is helpful for a person because when he will perform in a practical field he will be in profit because thousands of people have degree but no skill.

Students graduating in current era must focus on the fact that only degree is not enough to get a job but they need to develop expertise in technologies that are used in the market. I support study till under grad level because technologies and trends always keep changing and if someone has education till under grad level then he is able to lean and develop expertise in new technologies. Those who don't focus on basic education rather learn only current trend or technology find it difficult to learn new things with time.

In the job market, a diploma isn't always enough. Expertise in a specific field is more valuable than many other things. If you are an expert in a field and can prove you can do the job well, a diploma may not be necessary. However, this isn't always the case, as there are places where diplomas are required for employment, and the standards are very high.

What's always important is self-improvement and specializing in areas you're interested in. If you develop yourself and become an expert in your desired field, you can seize many opportunities.

I agree, although learning on YouTube is convenient there is a different effect of learning directly. You can ask questions in the classroom, if you make a mistake it is corrected immediately, it is very useful in practice. I think parents actually want security more than a degree, they think that a good university means their child's future is a little more secure. Although skills are now more important than degrees in many places, the chances of success really increase if practical learning and guidance go hand in hand.

Thank you for giving an example of the difference between live learning and online learning or YouTube. It is unfortunate that there are some parents who force their children to be able to achieve high achievements, they continue to pressure their children to study and study, even though excessive pressure can make them stressed and there are also cases where children experience stress and even commit suicide because of pressure from their parents who are too hard.
