Why do you not know that people start their resolution but they don’t finish it, stop smoking, drinking, shred fat but they do not complete why do you want them to add bitcoin to a list people think the can achieve but can’t.
New year is a day like tomorrow or like 25th, 30th why can’t you start your resolution at that time.
Don’t wait for the new year to include bitcoin in a resolution, buy today 23rd.

Absolutely right. People who wait for the New Year were like children who believe in Santa, expecting a miracle. A new year is coming in a week; it's just a change in the calendar. There's no point in making future promises if you're not consistent in the current time. Whether it's a new year, a new Monday, or the start of a week or a month, it's a regular postponement of your imperfect plans, and often, when the time comes, new obstacles appear. Just live in the here and now; miracles don't happen on schedule.

What's your take on including Bitcoin in the new year resolutions?
Good or wrong?
New year's resolutions are good if they are implemented. I don't need the new year to add Bitcoin to my financial plan because it is always there. DCA is my accumulation strategy and it has no respect for times and seasons. I just keep accumulating based on my financial plans.

Bitcoin is not the only reliable and profitable asset. In 2024, cocoa was more profitable than Bitcoin; it had a surge of about 204%. People might have plans to invest in other assets; telling them to make Bitcoin their priority might derail their investment plans.

What's your take on including Bitcoin in the new year resolutions?
Good or wrong?
I will do this so that next year I can focus on investing in Bitcoin better than ever and evaluate some of the mistakes I made this year that hurt my investments. After reaching ATH, a sharp drop is inevitable, and at that point, I need to set aside money to do a Bitcoin DCA.

Why would including bitcoin in our new year resolution be wrong? A lot will be hoping to be more financially secure next year and if bitcoin is the way they see to achieve this then that’s good for them. They just have to be more realistic about next year.

I don’t think including Bitcoin in a New Year resolution is wrong, but I also don’t think the date itself really matters. If someone already believes in Bitcoin, it’s probably already part of their plan anyway. New Year or not, DCA, saving and risk management don’t depend on the calendar. Waiting for January 1st won’t magically change habits.
That said for some people a New Year resolution is just a mental reset. If it helps them be more disciplined, review mistakes, or finally start a proper plan, then fine. The problem starts when people expect a miracle just because the year changed.
Bitcoin is a tool, not a shortcut. It can help with long term financial goals, but only if expectations are realistic and the plan is consistent. Whether you start today or on January 1st doesn’t matter as much as actually sticking to it.

This is a good one. However, it is important for everyone who intends to include Bitcoin in their portfolio or life by next year to know why they are doing so in the first place. Are they looking for a good online investment option they can adopt or simply  considering Bitcoin because of the hype it is getting? It is worthy to note that the success of this resolution is to a great extent determined by the motive behind it, which will in turn determine how the investor choose to go about it.

A genuine investor who's seeking Bitcoin for investment purpose will know that he needs to study Bitcoin, learn it, understand it and the risks involved. He is not looking for quick gains, but something that will accumulate gradually till it turns into something very significant.

Investors who just want to get bitcoins for the hype may end up disappointed too early. That is why, I will tell anyone who is looking for get rich quick opportunities never to consider Bitcoin in their 2026 resolutions.
Including Bitcoin in a new year resolution only makes sense when intention is clear from the start. Bitcoin is not a checkbox habit like going to the gym or quitting sugar. It demands understanding patience and emotional tolerance. Without knowing why you are adding it the resolution collapses at the first drawdown. Motivation rooted in hype fades quickly when price moves against expectations. Purpose is what carries people through volatility.

People who approach Bitcoin as a long term asset usually move differently. They study its mechanics history and risks before committing capital. They accept slow accumulation and uneven progress. Short term price swings do not shake them easily because their focus is structural not emotional. For them Bitcoin is not excitement but positioning. That mindset makes consistency possible.

As the year is gradually winding up in the couples of week now,, everyone is already making new year resolutions to ensure they improve in some areas they lagged behind,I think Bitcoin should be included in the list of our New year resolutions because the best is the year you have your life intact and financial freedom.making Bitcoin investment your priorities and consistency can improve your financial status and make the year one of the the best and memorable in your life existence

This could be done by people who are new to investing in Bitcoin because if you want to achieve consistency in carrying out investments, you need discipline with the application of strategies that are much easier.
Priorities can be adjusted to the financial capabilities you have without forcing you to take a full approach with the money you have because when it comes to life, we don't just make plans for investing but also need to make much better financial plans for living together with our family.

Investing in bitcoin also doesn't have to use a large capital approach because as long as it is done consistently and well, the assets we own will definitely grow because we have a clear plan regarding purchasing.
That is why to achieve financial freedom one only needs to make good planning when investing because bitcoin is a store of value that increases over time.

Totally agree with you. You don’t need to throw all your cash at Bitcoin to see results. The real game is consistency and having a clear plan. Even small, regular buys add up over time, and that’s how you ride out the volatility without losing your mind. Plus, you’re right investing isn’t just about crypto. You gotta balance it with everyday life and family expenses. Smart planning beats chasing quick gains any day. Bitcoin’s a long-term store of value, so patience and discipline win over panic moves every time.

Resolutions are bullshit according to me. If you want to do something do it today or dont do it.

If you want to buy bitcoin, plan immediately and buy, because currently the price is on the lower side.

Of course if you want to become a coiner from a no-coiner, then of course start because the new year is coming and its better than other assets out there. Still make sure you buy at a low price that you have previously got from the charts.

i wonder if most people who make crypto resolutions actually stick to them or if they just paper hand at the first 10 percent dip, buying at a low price sounds easy but it takes discipline to actually hit the buy button when everyone else is scared, right now with the fear index being where it is it might actually be the smart time to plan that transition to being a coiner, thanks for the reminder that today is always better than tomorrow for making things happen, resolutions are just excuses to delay the hard work of managing your own portfolio

It takes enough knowledge to understand that any dip or correction on BTC will be long gone sooner or later.

Starting now from anything, ground zero or with some coins under your belt, is the best course of action, especially when BTC is down.
