Done answering the survey test, and it stated that I have good control over my gambling activity, but obviously, it can be easily faked if the respondent is not honest enough to tell the actual experience in the last 12 months.

True, since most of those who are addicted to gambling are always in denial about it. Taking the test, not answering the questions truthfully, and getting fake results will only give them some sort of temporary assurance, reinforcing their belief that they are fine and not totally addicted to gambling. If anybody is really keen on getting help with their gambling addiction, they should seek professional help. Just as OP has already stated, the site can be used as a general guideline and should not be treated as a proper diagnosis.

I guess the site is fine for what it's worth; the tests and their other services are free and only asking for donations to help those who are in need.

Thank you for recommending this test. It was an interesting experience, although the test itself seemed a bit naive to me. It basically asks directly: have I lent money for gambling, have I missed work because of gambling, and so on. The question about whether my parents have a gambling addiction shows that the creator of this test acknowledges that addiction is partly genetic, which is true. After all, many psychologists say the same thing. Overall, I liked it, but in the future, I'd like to take a test that will more subtly assess the level of my gambling addiction.

I didn't think I had a problem with gambling, playing with the portion that I have adjusted, then there are no problems with mental & strategy, I also set limits on my gambling activities. But, look what I got:



It seems that this test is not accurate because it cannot describe what the person answering the questions actually feels. I don't know if the incompatibility is just mine, or if it's already happened in some of the answers above (I haven't seen it from above).

I had a good gambling year because I was able to control myself and follow my budget meticulously. There were times I lost control but it was put under control after a short period. I also had a very fruitful gambling experience this year because I had some big wins that covered my expenses. Hoping that next year will be better.

I don't think I need this test as I have quit gambling for good this year, I don't feel I have done one of the main things mentioned in these questions which to say I have won while I have lost in a brutal way during the year 2025, second consecutive year full of loses for me as up until 2023 I was doing pretty well, everything started after that maintenance and change of min bet in many casinos by Pragmatic Play at early 2024. Most addicted persons should take that test presented here as it can tell them a lot about themselves and where they need to improve in order to fight back over their addiction.

I also took the test, and it came back positive. Although it takes someone honest to fill in correctly, those addicted find it hard to accept where they've been wrong all along. The test wouldn't give accurate feedback if gamblers refuse to be honest while reporting their behaviors.

Getting a good result from the test and dealing with our conscience is not a way of resolving bad gambling behavior, repenting from addiction comes from the mind and willingness to change, not many are ready to accept it yet.

I hope that everyone is sincere with their picks from the answer because some gamblers will only choose the answers that will show they are responsible gamblers at the end of the test. I'm saying this because addicted gamblers finds it difficult to accept the fact that they're addicted.

I can understand the psychological appeal of lying to oneself, people cannot accept reality sometimes.
But even if those people do not want others to know about their addiction, this is a good chance for them to check their habits and look inwards to see whether there is something wrong going on mentally and with their personal finances.

Addicts do not like to be called addicts, that is true, but everyone eventually has a wake up call which gives them the chance to change their life style for good.


I won't feel like taking this test, as I already know what the results will be in my case and I would not like some people around me to assume I have problems with gambling, there is much stigma here about gambling and gambling addiction, unlike in other countries where is more socially acceptable, like Nigeria.

Next New Year, it seems I don't intend to change any of my gambling habits. I can still gamble as usual for now without experiencing financial problems. This year may not have generated any profit, but I don't really care about that. As long as I can still enjoy the wins, I think that's enough. For the coming year, I decided to gamble as usual, without increasing or decreasing my allocation. 
It is indeed important for gamblers to know whether they are starting to become addicted or not. As long as gamblers can still control their finances and gambling activities, they should still be safe.

I have complete control of my gambling based on the test. Honestly, if I had taken this test two years ago, the result would have been worse.
It's better to take this kind of test before the end of the year, or, if you think it's essential, to assess where we are heading.
But you need to be honest and truthful, or you will just be fooling yourself, and the test will become a big failure. It's better not to take the test if you cannot answer it honestly.

Good information. But I can be sure that I am not a gambling addict. I have observed the gambling environment, from professionals to addicts. For those who are confused about where they stand, this website is very useful. Next year, I have no plans to change my habits, but I plan to be better and more cautious in using my money, especially for gambling.

Everyone is having a good control of their gambling habit that’s because honesty with test like this is a problem. An addicted gambler will take this test and get the result that they are in control of their gambling habit.

This test should be if you think and let those who take the test score themselves in their mind because you asked them a question that they should answer within themselves.

It's funny to me, everyone seems having control over gambling in this test that's to show that the test can't add up to anything, if we really want to prove ourselves let's go back to our back transactions and score ourselves, take a view on that your sent into gambling and what you withdraw. You can have control over gambling but that doesn't stop your from losing money, the only control is over your money. If you lose more money even in a single bet you're not different from those that lose same amount in multiple bet. Stake low should be our aim next year.

I have gone through all the questions but to be honest here, I can't remember all the things anymore because 12 (a whole year) is not like a one month which everyone can remember too early. I will still visit the site after now so that I will take my time to access it and see if I have been gambling too much or not.

Anyone can have control over money but this applies to a gamblers who's very discipline, some gamble may have a lot if money but they will continue to gamble if they lose. Losing a bet can not be controlled but can be minimize if the gambler chooses to gamble with little amount of money that he is will to risk.

Cointxz, I  am in the same part with you. Addiction is far from me. And I don't think I will be a gambling addict one day. This year, gambling doesn't favour me though I win few games but I loss more than the winning but the luckiest part was I am not an addict. If a gambler can control his mind in gambling then he can't be an addict but a responsible gambler. People loss more because they chase losses and gamble without planning. Have a budget of the week and gamble, everything will be fine.

Being honest is what is far from some people's decisions in life, they prefer to be in dishonesty than claiming the actual conditions of what is happening with them in gambling, which I don't expect to be a thing of shame, but what we have to see as being the reality of what we are facing, because we are not gambling to impress anyone, but to have fun and enjoy the time given to it, making it worth it.

I think it would still serve a purpose. Those who take the test know if they are lying or not, so I guess it would at least make them self aware. As for me, the result is just the same with others, which makes sense since I'm not a regular gambler. I doubt anyone with a negative result would be willing to share it here though.

Well, at first, I decided not to go for the test because I know myself. I maintained a distance from it and adopted a good discipline, doing it but with high preventive measures. But looking at others, I followed them and did my test, and I am glad that I am safe. If I conclude my whole year's activities, I will only say that discipline is the one thing that can prevent you from addiction and loss of money. Maybe others don't agree with me because everyone has their own approach to it, but for me, it works a lot, and I am safe from excessive loss.

I know I am not addicted and have never had any issues with gambling within the 12 months of 2025. I still took the test for curiosity and fun's sake and the results proved that I have a good control over my gambling habits. That is a good report, I will be keeping up with that in 2026.

Even without taking the test, I am very sure that I am not gambling addicted, because I don’t gamble regularly. Again I don’t bet with money that I can’t afford to lose. I always gamble with what I can afford to lose, because I always gamble for fun.but my experience this year was not bad, although sometimes it was not that good, because I did not lose too much. I gamble and I lose, and also gamble and I always win some time. But honestly, I don’t have a record of the money that was spent on betting and the money that was won. I just feel that my losing is more than my winning, but still, I don’t have a bad experience.
