In sports betting, I have actually made some good wins this year, the money I won was put into a productive something, so I just count it like I made money from gambling, was not casino games but betting. In casino games, the losses was massive but I am glade that sports betting didn't disappoint me completely. I do not take gambling as a source of income, the money I won was just a symbol of luck, nothing more, some would say it's by good skill of making prediction meanwhile even with the good skills, one would still lose many times, so it's luck.

My answer is no because I am still in loss this year. I have won many bets but the loss more than my winnings. Most of the time when I play slots I have won some but later I could not maintain that winnings. I have tried that if I win as per my expectation then I will take a break from gambling at that time but it does not happen. Although I have many wins and losses throughout the year, it has not shown me profit yet. I will also make some changes in my gambling strategy from the beginning of 2026. This year I recorded more losses than I did last year, though I also made some profits but not as compared to what I did last year. Most of my friends had more profits this year than they did last year, I don't know why my own was different....So I had to pick a No in the poll, and we should mostly be removing profits from our minds when gambling, and we all should only be gambling for entertainment if you ask me. The NO will take the highest number. I played gambled and win but was used again in the casinos and loss all back to the casinos so I am still on the losing side of the year. I gambled in Stake and others casinos and the year was bad for me. We try next year. We pray luck shine next year. This year I lost some money because messing around on casinos, but thanks to me being a casual gambler, it was not a significant amount of money I could cry about, just some dollars I can live without.
Anyways, of the objective of this thread is to offer some kind of reminder to people why they all are supposed to gamble only for fun, then this is kind of clever, statistically it is obvious we will end up seeing the majority of people to declare losses, while a tiny minority will declare they made money thanks to their good luck.

To determine whether i have made a profit or a loss, i would first need to calculate the total deposits and withdrawals, but i cannot possibly do that. Not only would it be a waste of time, but it would also cause me to feel frustrated if i found out that the amount i had lost over the past year was actually very large.

I don't think it's necessary to calculate it. Based on my personal calculations and the gambling budget that keeps getting depleted every month, the answer is definitely “NO”, even though profits have certainly been made at some point. However, those profits only came briefly before disappearing along with the losses and the initial capital.

Capital No is my answer, there's nothing to lie for because losing is part of the game. Obviously "NO" would definitely be the answer of everybody and is good like that because gambling is all about luck, there's no one here that haven't experience losses this year unless you are not a gambler. At least this thread would help many gamblers that doesn't know how to accept losses to say the truth because is something that you can never overcome.

Don't know how much money has been spent in gambling because I don't see it in the records in my account, what is clear is that during this year, I didn't make money in gambling, it is more appropriate to lose a lot than win because we know not to expect to win overall because it is impossible.

The OP is right, the majority will have lost money this year, but TBH I wouldnt
expect it to be different. Look at all the gambling sites, they are definitely not
loss making ventures.

With that in mind we should indeed treat gambling as entertainment and not
treat it so serious that it dominates our life. Take the wins and enjoy them but
when the losses come, and they will, dont take them seriously enough to affect you.

I don't know how much money has been spent on slots, dice, plinko and many more, I estimate that in these games of luck, I lose more than I win but I realize that it's all just for fun so gamble in small amounts.

I don't think I made profits in general, my most losses came from casino slot games, I barely made genuine profits from my deposits. Sports betting was were I made the most profits, if the gambling company always get an edge over gamblers, that means majority of gamblers are going for the NO, except those who had massive wins.

It's hard to say, but did I make money betting? Did I profit? I don't think so, but I also didn't spend more than I earned. It's a calculation I should make, I know, but I don't. Lolz.. of course what do you expect from guys? Definitely it will be a higher number of no than yes since loses areore than wining. Although I am not a regular Gambler or even a Gambling addict but the few times I gambled I mever win any tangible thing. Clicking on the vote on pow, I already know that the number of No will be higher than yes, and It was as I expected. We should just gamble and expect the least and not putting our hopes on it. I’m actually happy there are still gamblers out there who make money, those who can honestly answer “yes.” For me, I chose “no.” I lost a lot this year, no denying that. But I’m not trying to recover it anymore. Losing has already become a normal experience for me. Same thing last year, I lost money gambling too.

My only real achievement now is not losing too much. If I manage that, I can still proudly say that in my own way, I was a responsible gambler.

My answer is "no," unfortunately I haven't been lucky enough this year to end up making a profit in the long run, but I'm not at a huge loss either. I'd say my loss is acceptable; a few winning bets would have put me in profit. Im on a losing streak the way I see it, and probably win a very little amount but if im going to compared that to losing I can see that I never really win or make any profit out of that, but still its okey because im not really wanted to make money in gambling it was just some entertainment thing for me and just for a little fun, to test my luck.
