There are good people in Nigeria who can safe us, but they are few, difficult to find and may not be considered to lead. Nigerians should have a rethink of their choice of leaders and the process of election in order to make Nigeria work.

Nigeria is in a very critical era and we need a redeemer to come and rescue us like in the days of David rescuing the philistines from Goliath, I believe if Peter Obi was given the opportunity to rule Nigeria, he will turn things around and Nigeria will work again under his administration, that Man is so humble and down to earth,. Those are the kind of leaders that will rescue and save Nigeria,  president Tinubu is just fighting after re-election and wether theere is insecurity in the country he doesn't care.

Look at the level of kidnapping and terrorism that is rocking the northern parts of Nigeria yet the president is mute, all he does is to negotiate with bandits instead of descending mightily on them through the armed forces, Nigeria needs a visionary leader, someone that has sympathy on the Masses not someone that only seeks power and wants to be re-elected for the second time and yet we wallow in insecurity and hunger.

Choice of leadership is what we don't have in Nigeria as we are only interested in political parties and not the representative in question. Over the years we believe in selling our votes all because we never believed in selecting the right candidate but choosing political parties.  I still can not forget in 2015 when the APC government first took over power, instead of choosing with credibility we accepted the change they offer which is one of the reasons we are at this current situation.
For nigeria to be good we most revamp our orientation by choosing credible representative know matter the  party.

I don’t agree with the part of Nigeria needing a David. We don’t need a messiah to come and save us. The 2015 election proved that we don’t need to depend on such idea. Since then we’ve been fed the same lie and suffered the outcome. What we need is a government which we are a part of, that listen to us, and work towards protecting our best interests. We need to come out in our large numbers and put in the work by exercising our franchise. No more hoping and praying with zero action to back it up.

It's unfortunate that our government is existing in a mess that our past leaders put us in long time ago. Nigerians know how to save themselves,  but I think they are nit ready for it. It's not about the fee good people that can lead you to the right part, but it's about the citizens. Are they ready for a change? Are they tired of this same people governing us? My honest answer is no, because thus same masses still vote for this oppressors. The people tend to forget that the power is in their hands. I don't know if I will say they don't know their right or they just choose to acknowledge it. If the people really need change they should stand up and say enough is a enough, they should make their vote count and remove this old carbals from power.

The only day Nigeria conducted a free and fair election was on June 12 but Northern leaders pressured Ibrahim babangida to annulled that election . Ever since then, elections in Nigeria have never been conducted free and fair.

Our votes in elections counts, otherwise politicians wouldn't be splashing billions to buy votes to win elections. If Nigerians stop selling their votes on elections days and vote credible leaders, incompetent leaders wouldn't be voted into power. Although, the judiciary can unturn elections results and declare a candidate winner but it can only happen when there are solid evidence.

Leaders need to move away from the policy of grabbing power. But most of the politicians in our country who come to power do not want to give up power. We need honest and sincere rulers who will not tolerate corruption. There is public anger against President Tinubu but he still wants to hold on to his chair. In my opinion, he is a fairly experienced politician but he has some problems in his decision-making. He gives more priority to the elite class. A president main target that he will rule the country considering the interests of all but he is giving more benefits to the rich and is not formulating any visible projects for the poor. The problem of unemployment, rising inflation and religious divisions and violence have reached a bloody level which is severely affecting the security of the country. Foreign powers are daring to intervene militarily taking advantage of our weakness.

The choice of leadership is not always the problem, the greater problem is always about the process of electing the leader which is what has led to us having good candidates coming up every now and then and at the end of the day, when they contest, the system doesn't favour them at all and someone that's not qualified at all ends up getting the greater  vote because he knows how to cheat the process.

A single person can not save us as a nation. The only way we can see the change we are yeaning for is when we all accept that enough is enough and collectively fight for a revolution that might tend to birth catastrophe but at the end, yield a change we would be proud of in the long run. If it's by a single person's effort, Nigeria will remain where we are for a long time or forever.

Getting someone to save us from the hands of our wicked political representatives is what i don't think will be possible because we we failed to support someone who was willing to give his life for our freedom and now he is in prison, so now our freedom is in our hands either we take it or leave it. It's difficult to see someone that have Nigeria at heart now, they all appear to be someone nice  while after election and swearing they do show their real attitude,  and whoever have the poor masses at heart don't last, they either get kill or disqualified after anyone in political appointment.

The incumbent president of Nigeria, many believed that he made lagos beautiful and working and same thing will happen when he  becomes president, some masses were saying that he's rich and he can even use his own personal money to lift the country and topic changes after he became president, taxes everywhere, insecurities that people were thinking will become pass is getting worse days and nights, what he's after is next coming election forget to bring solutions to recent challenges that we are facing, other parties that masses will think be way out are only after what to gain after election not what they will do for country.

You know say up till now all these people wey no like Igbo man to rule Nigeria never still give me better answer, so go say them to like money but my question na who no like money and why e be say na these set of people them dey run from to rule. The only one I believe can save Nigeria at this point in time is God. Some people might want to say I'm being religious about it but this is the reality we are faced with. Nigerians matter seems to go beyond what Nigerians can solve themselves as the people do not currently understand what is best  for them and these politicians are already making us look mad in our decision making processes. This is why I said so, if you recall before Buhari came to power, alot of us despised Atiku to become president and even when Buhari came to power not all people wanted him to be replaced by Atiku but rather by Peter Obi especially when Atiku started making careless statements at events like saying he was going to sell the NNPC to his friends and family and people sensed it to be desperacy and further hated him for the careless statements. Today, majority of the people are already suggesting Peter Obi to deputize Atiku again while Atiku becomes the flag bearer of the coalition with excuses such as Atiku is the only one who can beat Tinubu and also saying when it comes to politics leave it for the north and Atiku is the strong northerner who can contest against Tinubu and I was like was it not same Atiku we castigated the last time, what exactly is going on in this country?

This issues of waiting for a miraculous leader that Will come and change the Nigerian fortune will never work, it's better we all stand up and ask for what is right from this one's we have or lose it forever. This set of guys we have as leaders are no relinquishing powers to anyone, so we too have to collectively speak in one voice, for them to change their attitude on governance, which if we do, trust me it will come out positively, but let kill the idea of anybody coming to save us, we all need to come together and save ourselves.
