You can prepare your money for buying Bitcoin with time, and with a long time for accumulation, Dollar Cost Averaging DCA is a good strategy to use for your Bitcoin investment and accumulation.

2035 year, 99% of bitcoins mined are only hyping factors while if you understand about Bitcoin controlled supply, and realize its potential, as well as big advantage of early investors, you can simply DCA bitcoin and don't mind about years and prices when you buy it.

Only 20x? So 100x is not even possible anymore? If that’s really the case, then maybe we’ve already seen the peak of Bitcoin as an investment after all these years. For a 10-year run, that kind of growth feels limited now.

Honestly, if that’s the ceiling, I wouldn’t put everything into Bitcoin anymore. I’d rather spread it out. Putting money into a real business is risky too, sure, but there’s still a chance you can grow your capital 10x in just a year if things go right.

For that long of a period, it’s not really worth the wait in my opinion. I guess we can’t expect x100 gains anymore like in the past. I’ve been around since Bitcoin was still under $1,000, but I didn’t really take advantage of it back then. I was easily tempted to sell even at x10, looking back now that was probably my mistake.

I’m done with shitcoins. The only real success I had was back in 2017–2018 during the ICO days.

I understand that the future is difficult to predict and predictions are rarely accurate. There are various predictions that haven't come true, and I think everyone has the right to make predictions, but we can't take them at face value. When the period mentioned was written, I thought a tenfold increase was realistic, but a hundredfold is huge, although I also really like it. This industry is good; it's developing rapidly. Many big institutions are getting involved, so it seems there are a lot of wild predictions and potential historical changes. But I hope I can still accumulate more Bitcoin.

That's my personal belief. To prove that it's actually a better Store Of Value than Gold, the market has to show that it's not merely belief anymore, but practical reality.

Yeah, tell me that when bitcoin crosses $500k and then drops below $200k. What would you do in a state of panic ?
As good as it sounds, it requires a strong will and determination to HODL in such panic markets.
I know you are suggesting to stay dedicated to this goal of holding long but sometimes, situations make us do the opposite.

I think all of the above is a dumb idea, and I cast my vote accordingly.

Why? Because I believe Bitcoin should improve the quality of my life, rather than require me to spend my life on Bitcoin. No one knows what will happen in ten years. So, I spend my BTC on everyday basis to cover my living expenses.

Is it possible that Bitcoin can go up to 20x within 2026 and 2035? I don't think it's a good idea to count on this because it's still prediction, if anyone wants to hold Bitcoin it must not be because of this 20x, you should hold because you want to, don't count on this, also it is always best to invest what you can afford to lose, it's pure peace of mind.

By having a side job it can be to collect bitcoins.
If you already have a permanent job then it is for your living needs.

Your life will feel more comfortable with a position like this... and to match the total market value of gold then bitcoin needs a 30x increase.

My plans are to accumulate more even if the price was at $115k I was accumulating it, but later I had to sell, the thing with me is, I accumulate but I failed to hold it for too long, what I'm doing right now is holding some amount in a wallet, that I don't open at all. I had some amount earlier in Bitcoin that I moved to a different wallet and not opened it haha.

The problem with me is not the accumulation as somehow I keep accumulating even if it is just $50 of amount but the problem is how can I keep that separate and not use the amount, one thing so far I have tried successfuly is investing and forgetting about it.

I agree that this is a perfectly reasonable investment strategy. The likelihood of its success, in my opinion, is quite high. 🙋

Of course, no one can guarantee that we'll get rich following this strategy. After all, Bitcoin might not grow 20-fold in 10 years. A 20-fold increase from today's price would correspond to a price of $1,740,000. That seems incredibly high right now!

When I started reading this thread, I was reminded of Isaac Asimov's great novel, "Foundation". Bitcoin, in my opinion, is somewhat similar to Foundation. And, like the literary "Foundation", it could collapse unexpectedly. Bitcoin's triumph could be interrupted by a "black swan" (a rare event with far-reaching catastrophic consequences).

For example, artificial intelligence is currently developing incredibly quickly. The question arises... How might the development of artificial intelligence affect Bitcoin?  We don't know. However, we see (for example) that miners are gradually shifting their focus from traditional mining to AI-related projects. And this could be a potential threat.

Nevertheless, I believe that having some kind of financial strategy is always better than none. It would certainly be great if Bitcoin's price reached $1,740,000 in 2035!

That's a good rule to be followed starting this year until 2035, but I think it would be much better to target 2036, which is the block halving event. We know that at the beginning of every cycle, the BTC price is always confirmed bullish. So 2036 should be your target year if you are planning to take profit during a bullish period.

I can't do the 2nd rule honestly; since that's my way to live financially to support my family, I'm buying broken stuff and letting me repair it to sell it to the local marketplace. We also sell other stuff we produce, and we sell it near me. So I don't have much extra to buy using the 2nd rule, but I do trading, but I'm not always making profit, and I'm not the same as before, when I always made a trade daily. Right now, I filtered them out. I only trade with high-quality trades; while learning, this is my way to grow my account and my portfolio.

For 3rd, I have a small portion of BTC holdings, but I don't have a target year; I just want it to hold and hide for the long term until I become a senior citizen. Planning to use it only for emergencies when senior.

I don't know if we have to set some rules. For me just go and continue to stack sats in which able way to can. I don't think that we need to sell some assets though. If you have work then you can go and continue to accumulate, easy as that.

Or if you are a businessman, then step aside the profits you go from your business and invest. If you are a student, maybe some money you got from your parents like allowances, you can still put some percentage on it in Bitcoin.

As long as you have the hodle mentality, till whatever you want to invest, you will be successful.

New Year resolution buying Bitcoin aggressively, but not pressuring is the goal with no time frame in mind, always steadily stacking up Bitcoin by bits as time progresses and not selling regardless what the market outcome and reaction could be until we get to that appropriate time which could exceed the estimated year 2035.

I'd rather follow a more balanced approach than going full maxi on btc. I'll always have some btc allocation but I will probably not let it take over my asset portfolio as well. That approach seems to make more sense to me. I can't stomach the volatility when my btc allocation trumps my other assets but that's just me. Some people seem to do just fine having all their life savings in btc. That's just not me. I'll have stocks, bonds, precious metals, real estate even cash... along with btc. That seems to be a better idea rather than making a cult out of btc hoarding. So... I'll say, i won't be doing what you said. On the contrary, I'll probably be on the sellers side as btc keeps climbing because I'll have to rebalance my asset portfolio. (by selling btc)
