Code:
Hero of Good: icopress
This is the forum member with whom I have the warmest and most appreciative relationship, and to whom I am sincerely grateful for all the help, support, and care he has shown me over the years on the forum. I cannot imagine bitcointalk without him.

Code:
Forum Ninja: Tryninja
I don’t know what I would do without the bot that reminds me about notifications and generally keeps me up to date even when I don’t have time to visit the forum itself. I would definitely reply to people who tagged me far less often if it weren’t for Tryninja.

Code:
Bitcoin Geek: GazetaBitcoin
This person has the largest number of posts dedicated to Bitcoin and crypto topics in general. I think he is very knowledgeable about the technical details, and although I’m personally more interested in applied and humanitarian topics related to cryptocurrencies, I still value his work and expertise.

Code:
Best Event: Bitcointalk Community Awards
This year I wasn’t very active in various events. But they didn’t pass me by, even though I didn’t participate. It was nice to see many active users in each of them, but this one still remains the best for me. First, I actually managed to take part in it, and second, I was even nominated several times in one of the categories.

Code:
Best Project: BitList
A huge amount of useful information gathered in one place. There is an enormous amount of work behind this project, done by icopress. I would like to express my gratitude to him, although I have nominated him separately in another category.

Code:
Discovery of the Year: icopress
Since I can nominate my best forum friend, that’s exactly what I’ll do (I apologize for the one-line explanation, but conciseness is quite appropriate here — I have nothing more to add)

Code:
Help Buster: LoyceV
This nomination has remained somewhat unclear to me for years, but I will name someone who, in my view, is strongly associated with the forum, yet is not as obvious a choice as our admin. Thanks to LoyceV, I learned about my presence on the DT list. And each time I’m glad to see that I remain on the list he publishes.

Code:
Craft Master: inspace
He runs many great contests from cool projects. I like how they are organized and how smoothly everything is handled there. I’ve been lucky enough to win several of them.

Code:
Local Hero: DrBeer
One of the few people who keep the Ukrainian board going. I’m glad I have someone to communicate with in my native language, even though the forum still lacks a dedicated Ukrainian section. He translates many articles, making them accessible to the Ukrainian audience.

Code:
Miss Bitcointalk: Lannakosa
I am an active participant in the Russian-language section, and that’s where I met Lannakosa. It’s nice to know that, besides me, there are other women on the forum and to have the opportunity to communicate with them. She is a very active contributor who writes in an engaging and useful way. And she doesn’t forget to drop by the Ukrainian board from time to time, which I also appreciate.

Code:
Hero of Good: LoyceV, icopress, nutildah
LoyceV: [you still scare me even after all these long years, somehow. In a good way. Because... well, you're scary] I personally think he's the embodiment of half of the bitcointalk forum itself, with his contribution, guidance, etc. [still scary, though]

icopress: whenever he made an event, he did it wholeheartedly. Certainly this worth a mention in "the spirit of cypherpunk" or... perhaps he's just a socialite, LMAO. Anyway, yeah, he's good. So I'll put his name here.

nutildah: like LoyceV, he scares the hell off me. [certainly the graphic details courtesy to Grok didn't help ease the terror]. I nominate him as hero of good here, for the good that others can't see, the things he do behind the screen for the forum [well, SA board part of the forum] for the contribution I don't think I can mention here?

Code:
Forum Ninja: TryNinja, joker_josue, nutildah
TryNinja: [not because of his name, really, I swear] Ninjastic? bitlist? TG Bot? I use them and can't do much in the forum without them, so yeah, without them, I can't imagine bitcointalk, he made my forum life very very verrryyy easy.

joker_josue: same like TryNinja. Talkimg helps me a lot, especially after imgbb hates me for whatever reason it is that make me unable to access any image hosted in it without having to take tons of way around. And in many occasions, [again, much like TryNinja], I can't do much in the forum without the service he provided, specifically in showing evidences and explaining ToS in handling cases.

nutildah: [umm... no offense, but your presence kinda scare me too, just like LoyceV]. His writing style and objectivity stands out. Objectivity as he oftentimes see things in a ground that I can vouch as neutral. And... his writing style scares me, so certainly that count as "stand out"

Code:
Bitcoin Geek: GazetaBitcoin, paid2
GazetaBitcoin: No offense, but... this name popped into my head very easily when bitcoin-geek being mentioned, and as I read the description of this criteria, the name became bolded, turned bright blue, then neon bright blue, then scorching hot. I initially wanted to put him in above category, but I ran out of entry, and then I find a place that fits him better. Translation? Repu? Tech? Well, he's literally basically everywhere... and enthusiastic [with a slight unhealthy obsession of foxpup and fillipone] of everything crypto related. Which... also the reason I think he belonged to Forum Ninja category, and If I can have four entries, he'll be there. But I can't. So, I immortalize him here.

paid2: [I'm glad theymos managed to change your username when I made this vote, because I wrote names out of my head and I honestly can't remember the sequence of your old username. I want to pay my home with Bitcoin, two? Is it? [this is me writing without looking at BPIP] do I write the sequence and wording right?]. Same like above, literally. Following the neon-bright GazetaBitcoin in my head, there is this "that-someone-with-long-name-about-home-that's-now-replaced-with-something-way-shorter" burning bright. He's mini GazetaBitcoin, on triple-shot-espresso-with-redbull... after dawning five scoops of preworkout... to calm his sugar-rush. Enthusiastic, jumping from board to board to talk about crypto and its features.

Code:
Best Event: Bitcoin Pizza Day... [or... event?], BitcoinTalk Community Award ,Pumpkin carving
Bitcoin Pizza... something: I find it the cruelest event when it was held because I had to match my timing when I vote [I'm serious here] because looking at those pizzas and had to decide which one is better than the other, I literally have to have my stomach full. Else, my mouth watered. Best event everrrrr...!!!!

BCA: 2024, to be specific, as the event has to be held on 2024... uhh.. wait, then it's BCA 2023. Whichever BCA event held in 2024, last year. I waited all those months long just to see it popped up. The hype was sooooo... unbearable. All that, but this time, it's the 2025 counter-part.

Pumpkin carving contest: TBH, I think I missed this one this year... but yeah, Halloween is one is my favorite holiday, much more than that happen at the end of year where everyone wears red,

Code:
Best Project: BetPanda, RainBet,
[disclaimer: I put them as best project purely and solely due to the dedication of the staff behind the "project" --i.e.: the casino rep in touch with me-- who greatly cooperate with me in any possible and most transparent way.]
BetPanda: I might have to put the rep of this casino as "Discovery of the year", because... they actually surprises me with their effort to stand for those having dispute with the casino. I hear this from others, two other sources, not from the rep themself, so the accountability is 100%, they tried to "bull their way" into reconsideration whenever the casino made a final call, allowing us to get it internally reopened and retried.

RainBet: solely and purely because I know jeremypwr move to this casino from his former, and know that with his own presence, the casino is in the right hand and will be one of the best project. Not to mention that they have rain of free bets [pun intended]. And oh, they also have Ryan Garcia as their star, big fan of him, like OMG! [side note: big fan before he went too much with the ink].

TBA:

Code:
Discovery of the Year: RainBet, albon, GazetaBitcoin
RainBet, I have to say that I HAVE to put RainBet here as it's such a... surprising thing, back in 2025. The downfall of what once a very reputable and one of the most long-standing casino, and then to hear that RainBet "poached" the staffs that the casino "let go" is such a relief and a, well, discovery.

albon: he's... now offering a lending service, P2P service, and BM service or something. [Sorry dude, about the second half of my year was really hectic, drowned by FIAT situation of one casino on daily basis, that I barely can keep track of old friends.] It's such a shift from the shy person I once met. Now he has more green number below his profile than me, LOL.

GazetaBitcoin: again, I quote, "users who have been actively participating in the life of the forum over the past year" and he participated [FAIK, from the hole of a board I've been this entire year] in as many events as he can.

Code:
Help Buster: nutildah, Porfirii, LoyceV
nutildah: nuff said. He's busy busting AI scammers who pollute SA board. Not to mention help me behind the screen for several casino-related-cases of SA.

Porfirii: [I'll admit, I finally have to use Google and type "AOBT" for this one and write his username based from what's written there instead of using my head like I did this far] initially I automatically wrote names that frequented SA board, then I remember that this year it's help buster, not scam buster. Basically still include scambuster in its category, but it is now a wider category. Keyword is no longer busting scam activities, it's: "outstanding volunteer working exclusively for the benefit of the community" and though we never crossed path [hence, I need to Google him] the thread he has, alongside with the members of the alliance whom sadly I can't mention one by one as I only have three entries, so he, as the OP of the thread, shall become the representative, as well as because he's the one intiating such alliance that helps a lot, volunteering in helping the community cross the language barrier.

LoyceV though scary, I once dared to uhh... poke him with ten meter long stick, when I try to understand the whole DT system, and he helped me a lot, the recursive effect of it, and why something appeared and other thing doesn't upon entries being placed. And it reminds me that he does help the forum a lot through his input on DT-related issues [those whole trust list, feedback, and other dramas that fill our repu board], his weekly reports, the archive, and many other.

Code:
Craft Master: 1Dq, minerjones, willi9974
1Dq: Ok, this one is even harder to find compared to AOBT's thread owner, as the thread was mentioned and came to my awareness through a raffle that I got invited to, and I have to dig deep and wide just to fish the link to the thread and learn about the designer [hi dude, nice to finally be able to mention you for the first time here]. But I remember seeing the thread when the raffle was brought to my attention and I fell in love with the artwork.

Know that your art that's sent by special someone to me, though have to go through proxy and literally crossing the world just to hide my real identity and where I actually reside [I kinda learned that we're practically neighbor and it can be overnight-ed from the sending address] is sitting nicely in my home-office --even after the room underwent a massive redecoration-- on a special pedestal. cc: jeremypwr

Minerjones: Ok, I cheat on this one as [I think] this is the first time I touched collectibles board, following the above quest, and I scanned through the board to hunt for nominee, and I liked his artwork too.

willi9974: So, TBH, the second thing that crossed my mind after "that-collectible-of-artwork-for-raffle" was "I think there is this nice black card, I saw it somewhere at some time in the past. it's a cold wallet, if I am not mistaken" then my brain finally worked [while I stroll around the collectible board to hunt for this thing, and fished MJ's fine art] and realized that I saw it in this very thread, offered as the prize. It's a very cool card, hence I nominate the designer of the card in this category. And yes, I saw the thread being referred and I want to mention the name mentioned there as I think he's the designer, but I don't want to imply. So, I'll kindly wait for someone to confirm. [If no one tell me until the day this contest closed, then I'll ask icopress's kindness as the host of the contest to give me a few hours past closing time, to reach my contact at BC and ask them who design their card. I don't think they'll know from the top of their head, but I think they're willing to ask around and fish out a name for me] --- Edit: thank you icopress for supplying me with the designer's name

Code:
Local Hero: GazetaBitcoin, jeremypwr, BetPanda
As I prefer to be anonymous of where I come from and voting someone "local" for me will kinda defeat that purpose, so I'll mention names that crossed path with me several times, of where I'll consider them friend as I share personal things with them, in the passing, either dumped what troubled my mind or vent up my frustration during my wiry state.

I don't know if they'll refer me as friend too, or if they think I am too bold by considering them as friend, but for me, they are. And for this category, I will not mention one by one why I choose the name, because they are all share the same trait that become the reason I put their name here: they were there and they listen. So this is my way to say thank you, for being there, and to see the real me and don't judge.

Or... [music scratched] to put it in other perspective: your name is here because I accidentally yapping at you at one point. So, this serves as a "Sorry, I blurted".

This year, I will approach with uhhh... slight description why I nominate each, especially because I put "BetPanda" [basically a company] as a "Local Hero" [that should refer to a user]. Well, to be precise, it's their rep who I nominate as the local hero. Long story short, what initially started as a funny little misunderstanding when we first touched bases and introduce ourselves and try to get past the awkward and meek phase I always encounter with new casino rep who in touch with me, they thought I investigate and research anyone I am communicating with [perhaps I folder everyone with manila envelope, color coded and neatly stacked in steel drawer, in their mind? If it was, know that yours is colored neon pink] turned so fast and quickly as I acccept [by their permission] that as a challenge. I do found them in their IRL [yes, my investigation skill seems still pristine and barely have any speck of rust] and I now officially stalk their life... as well as whenever we're not on professional mode, we exchanges banter every now and then. In exchange, they had the full story of my surgery back in 2024. So, BetPanda rep, let's call that even, we know each other's inside [mine rather literally].

Jeremypwr... I forgot how this start, but we became an online buddy too [sorry, dude, but there is someone else out there --above-- who knows me a tad bit better than I dare to let you know. You still knows a lot about me than others, though] I shared things with him and find comfort in texting him... [music scratched again] too bad that it also means I'll yell and yap at him if any case involving RainBet will ever happen. Though I am sure, just like BetPanda's Rep, we both can switch from HD to RainBet's represetative, and holy to Jer, accordingly.

Gazeta Bitcoin, dude, my big... hairy... scary dude, I am so so so so so soooooo sorry for ghosting you for like what? Two years? Last time we talk was before my surgery in early 2024? I have zero intention for that, really. I even installed an app on my device so we can communicate better, remember? [imagine me saying all these with scared face and try to look as smol as possible]. Well... I changed device after that, and I forgot the app. You're still in my mind [in a bad way, like in a self-guilt trip that haunts me for ghosting you] so uhh... I'll try to uhh... catch up with you. Most likely with fresh start, as I barely remember what do we talk in multi-topic-at-once-poured-in-two-PMs-in-a-row-because-apparently-there-is-a-max-character-for-PM

Code:
Miss Bitcointalk: Foxpup, lovesmayfamilis, etranger
Foxpup: I don't know who you are, and I am sure you don't know who I am, butttt... you have a uhh... admirer out there that I think borderline stalking you. So yeah, your name will be put here and I'll advise you to hire a bodyguard. May I suggest GazetaBitcoin? I heard he's big. And hairy.

lovesmayfamilis: wait, LMF is a she? I'll admit I peeked at other's answer because I have the barest idea of whether the forum user's genital is dangling around their legs or is it a deep... [awkward stare] [spoken very slowly and hesitantly] maw. But someone voted him, uhh... her. So, LMF.

etranger: came across your name when I uhh... fumbling around to look for the designer of BC card, and I learned that you have... uhh, to buy tampon every month. So, you here too.

Hero of Good: theymos, Satoshi, icopress

Satoshi is a legend and absolutely had to be here. Theymos is carrying on his legacy very well. icopress is also earning everyone's admiration for what they're doing.

Code:
Forum Ninja: Rifakip,TryNinja

Both members have made tremendous contributions to the forum. I admire them both individually; they do excellent work.

Code:
Bitcoin Geek:GazetaBitcoin, JayJuanGee, fillippone

I've listed the people who come to mind when you think of Bitcoin Geeks. Many users could be candidates, but these are the top 3 that came to mind.

Code:
Best Event: Bitcointalk Com Awrds, Turkish Monthly Bitcoin Price Contest, Pizza Day

These awards are also very important. For us, the most important achievement this year was our monthly prediction competition. Many members make predictions, and it creates a lot of excitement for us every month.

Code:

Code:
Help Buster: Wake Up, Lachrymose, mandown

I've listed our local helpful members here. Lachrymose, in particular, starts very good threads on the forum and tries to help everyone. Mandown, who works in the technology field, answers every question. Wake Up creates very helpful threads for beginners.

Code:
Craft Master:Hhampuz, icopress, PowerGlove

Code:
Local Hero: EFS, Lachrymose, Wake Up

EFS has witnessed thousands of events within the forum since 2013 and is, in my opinion, a hero of our forum. Lachrymose is a member who helps users with his knowledge. Wake Up's contributions to the forum are also very valuable. He has been sponsoring our "Guessing" topic for a few months.

This is my votes. Thanks all forum members. Thanks,

Code:
Hero of Good: LoyceV, theymos, icopress

theymos is everything to the forum, so they more than deserve to be nominated for this award.

We are amazed by what LoyceV can do; he's incredibly talented.

icopress is doing very successful work.

Code:
Forum Ninja:joker_josue, TryNinja

These two names come to mind when you think of forum ninjas. I think one of them will win.
Code:
Bitcoin Geek: d5000, fillippone,gmaxwell
We couldn't have found better candidates for Geek than these guys. They're involved in every aspect of the forum, and they're amazing people within the forum...

Code:
Best Event:  Turkish Bitcoin price prediction contest, Community Awards, Merit Poker
The prediction contest was a lot of fun for us this year. That's why it's one of our options. And Merit Poker still sits well in my mind; it was great.

Code:
Best Project: bitlist.co, Talkimg,

Code:
Discovery of the Year: Satofan44
Code:
Help Buster: LoyceV, nutildah

Code:
Craft Master: icopress, Hhampuz, Little Mouse
These would definitely be my top 3 craft master picks. There are other options on the forum, but these are my favorites.
Code:
Local Hero: EFS, Vispilio, xzone
EFS, Vispilio, and xzone are doing their best for the Turkish forum. I think they deserve the local hero award.

Code:
Hero of Good: theymos, suchmoon
It probably looks like a piece of cake to some, but I am sure that it is not easy at all to do what theymos has been doing for years and to deal with that kind of responsibility. Regarding suchmoon, in my opinion he is one of the best posters on the forum, and I wish he were more active.

Code:
Forum Ninja: TryNinja, DdmrDdmr, LoyceV
It would be hard to magine bitcointalk without those users and their tools that I use on basically the daily basis.

Code:
Bitcoin Geek: GazetaBitcoin, dkbit98, examplens
GazetaBitcoin wrote some of the more interesting posts about bitcoin and its signifance on this forum, while dkbit98 and examplens are the guys I would contact if I had some questions regarding bitcoin or any issues regarding it whatsoever.

Code:
Best Event: Bitcoin Pizza Day Contest
As a big fan of home make pizzas, and even bigger fan of bitcoin themed pizzas, for me no event beats that, especially in the last year or two when it as pushed to another level by our member's skill and imagination.

Code:
Best project: BitList
I liked ninjastic.space, and now it evolved into even something bigger, which is BitList. Having said that, I am still getting used to it, and I miss some things that ninjastic.space had.

Code:
Discovery of the Year: AakZaki
I've seen his name around throughout the years, but I didn't know until recently that he is a very capable alt account buster as well.

Code:
Help Buster: holydarkness, nutildah, lovesmayfamilis
I am nominating holydarkness for his role in mediating between casinos and those who think they have been wronged by them, while nutildah and lovesmayfamilis for their scam busting work and keeping the forum better place for us all.

Code:
CraftMaster:Cro2 team ( Trofo&cryptofrka), icopress,
Cro2 team is behind the best gambling board thing going on, Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League. It takes time just to participate in it, and I don't even wanna think about how much time they spend running that thing for 3 years now.
I am also nominating icopress for having a positive impact on how signature campaigns have been run in recent years and for organizing initiatives such as this one.

Code:
Local Hero: slackovic, katanic97, Pmalek
Activity in our local board has been declining for quite some time, and sudden appereance of katanic97 and the effort he put really made our local board more lively, while slackovic has been consistently our most active member year after year, without whose spam our local board wouldn't be the same. Pmalek is another important member of our local board who beside being a very knowledgeable guy also helped our lower ranking members reaching higher ranks.

Every time I stumble upon her somewhere on the forum, that iconic Jimi Hendrix song comes to mind. Sapienti sat.  Wink

Code:
Hero of Good: LoyceV, examplens
- LoyceV -  I don't think i need to say much about this guy , the forum simply wouldn’t be as good without him. Since i became a member of AoBT, i haven't just been translating his posts , through all that work i've gained a lot of valuable knowledge. I'm still trying to learn and improve, and LoyceV is someone everyone can learn a lot from.
- examplens - His presence on this forum has a huge impact , first of all on me, and i'm sure on many other members as well. Twelve years on the forum is no small thing, and the knowledge he shares is genuinely useful. Every time i had a doubt or a question, examplens had an answer. On top of that, he’s simply a good guy who genuinely likes to help others

Code:
Forum Ninja: Tryninja
‎- Tryninja - For me, it’s definitely TryNinja. We really should be grateful for the time and effort he puts in. In my opinion, the most useful tool is Bitcointalk Notifier v2, which i use every single day.

Code:
 Bitcoin Greek: GazetaBitcoin
- GazetaBitcoin - His posts really carry weight, and i've learned a lot about Bitcoin just by reading them.  His dedication and effort are truly admirable. He also helps a lot with running AoBT, where i'm a member myself.

Code:
Best Event: Roobet Art Contest
‎- Roobet Art Contest - For me, in general, it's the Roobet Art Contest. I've participated several times, doing something i genuinely enjoy - drawing. That contest always shows just how creative people on this forum really are, and how much effort can pay off in the end.

Code:
Best Project : Talkimg.com
- Talkimg.com - Simply put, in my opinion it's the best project. I often use this site when posting images and i've never had any issues with it. 10/10.

Code:
 Discovery of the year:*Ace*

*Ace* - His effort really means a lot for this forum. The tools he's shared so far are really solid. I honestly think this member is the future of the forum.

Code:
Help Buster: nutildah

nutildah - A member who fights against spam and AI generated posts. He's doing really well, and the effort he puts in truly helps keep the forum high quality.

Code:
Craft Master: Hhampuz, Little Mouse ,taufik123

Hhampuz, Little Mouse - Two managers who, in my opinion, handle their job in the most professional way. I've had the chance to participate in their campaigns, and i was always treated fairly 100%, even when i made mistakes , they gave me a chance to prove myself. Above all, they’re good people, and then great managers.

taufik123 - really impressed me at the Art Contest with his dedication and the amazing skills he showed. I think an artist like him deserves more attention, because works like his are really hard to beat on this forum.

Code:
Local Hero: ovcijisir , dkbit98, Pmalek
‎This might be the hardest category for me to vote in. In the Croatian local board where i am, there are so many great members with a lot of knowledge, but unfortunately, i can't vote for everyone.
- ovcijisir - A member who’s put in a lot of effort, especially lately, since he decided to focus on all crypto scams and make things easier for all of us. I hope he keeps going just like he has so far.
- dkbit98 - Pmalek - Their dedication to the local part of the forum has always been exemplary. Since i came back, their support has always meant a lot to me, especially their knowledge. They're also largely responsible for some of us in the local board moving up to higher ranks.

Code:
 Miss Bitcointalk:Mia Chloe
- Mia Chloe - I'm often active in the parts of the forum where Mia Chloe is. You can always see how quick she is and how ready she is to help new members. I think Mia Chloe truly deserves this award.

Code:
Hero of Good: - Satoshi Nakamoto
No matter who Satoshi was and no matter how many people were involved in creating Bitcoin and using the "Satoshi Nakamoto" name, without Bitcoin this forum would not exist. The huge number of members that have made this forum their home and have received financial benefit from it, have to thank Satoshi Nakamoto for being the Hero of the Good.

Code:
Forum Ninja: - Vapourminer, TryNinja, icopress
For a very long time, Vapourminer has consistently been meriting posts both current and those from threads that were long forgotten.  I cannot recall having any interaction with him however he is one of the very few merit source members that proactively distributes merits across a wide range of threads and boards, it is not uncommon to find he has merited posts from weeks and months ago because he silently goes around meriting posts that maybe did not receive any at the time. A forum ninja helping others without seeking any attention for himself.

It was not a difficult selection to vote for TryNinja because even though I cannot recall a single instance where I have interacted with TryNinja considering the number of years both of us have been using the forum, I have noted his contributions especially in the Beginners and Help board where he has over 1000 posts. Having said that, the collaboration between icopress and TryNinja that has incorporated the Ninjastic project within the Bitlist project to help the community navigate mixers, exchanges and the Bitcointalk archive should definitely be acknowledged. The member name is very apt, TryNinja is a forum Ninja  Grin

Also, it was not difficult to vote for icopress too. He is more associated with campaign management but the fact he launched Bitlist and then the Ninjastic project has been merged with it demonstrates that icopress is not just a manager and organiser but also has a keen eye to work away from the forum and the limelight to have the vision to operate external projects.

Code:
Bitcoin Geek: - NotATether, JayJuanGee
To educate and encourage members to run their own nodes, NotATether created the Run A Bitcoin Node: 14 Days To 14 Merits thread and deserves credit for modifying the participation structure when it became apparent that some members were taking advantage of his goodwill by cheating. The system will probably be 100% scam-proof because determined individuals and/or scheming account farmers will finds way to navigate around the protection features. None of that can take away the initiative that NotATether launched to bring those with limited technical skills to run their own node. He also is the founder of the BitMixList project, a website primarily designed to navigate the complexities of mixers.

JayJuanGee was the other nomination because his enthusiasm for Bitcoin can be seen by the contents of his posts. Over the years, JayJuanGee has been posting consistently with a passion especially when providing advice and explanations to many with regards to Bitcoin investment strategies. Posting in the WO is not something that I focus on at all, it is probably at the bottom of my to-do list and there has been controversy about the merit distribution there but keeping that thread aside JayJuanGee is also meriting a lot of posts across the forum.

Code:
Best Event: - Bitcointalk Community Awards, Pizza Day Contest, Epochtalk
I have a lot of respect for members that are organising various contents and competitions because they work in a constructive manner for the community to get together and participate in a common endeavour. I have chosen the Bitcointalk Community Awards because every year there is a lot of buzz around the awards whenever the time for voting approaches. I usually do not participate in competitions and contests, I cannot recall the last time I did (even though I had created some myself in the past for the Games and Rounds board) yet here I am participating by casting my votes.

Another event is the Pizza Day Contest, every year there anticipation about the prizes on offer for those that bake a pizza. Yes it has been open to abuse by account farmers and cheats but many of those elements have addressed and the scope for misuse is getting smaller. The contest is early awaited by many that have been brushing up on their baking skills in preparation of submitting their entry. I have not entered the contest myself but those that have upload a timeline of pizza photos to capture their work in action. There is definitely a degree of pride while members are showcasing their pizzas and it is (mostly) all in a well-mannered accepting environment.

When I read the new forum software was being shelved after all the work and finance that was put in trying to make it work, I was both disappointed and relieved by the failure of Epochtalk. Disappointed because it was a wasted journey that promised so much for for so long yet failed to deliver of anything that was worthy or tangible. At the same time there was relief because we were no longer waiting for (nor anticipating) a new forum as we were told we would using the one we have for the foreseeable future. As a result of the payments that were made to the developers that did not deliver, the sheer value of USD$ that the Bitcoin amounted to, many members were probably happy that the episode was over.

Code:
Best Project: - BitList, BitMixList, Rainbet Fantasy Premier League
A whole archive containing over 54 million Bitcointalk posts. BitList has list of exchanges and mixers as well as many other features for the community to use for free. It also helps those not affiliated with the forum by allowing interested parties to browse exchanges and mixers and check up on other information related to debit cards. Since merging with the Ninjastic project and having an updated website, this project is a serious one-stop access point for those that want to utilise free information.

BitMixList has some similarities to BitList because it is listing mixers but it cannot be compared because they have two different formats even though they provide information to those browsing their respective websites. NotATether has problems hosting his website after his then host decided to remove his project but instead of giving up he moved his project to a different host and had built upon his website with improvements.

The Rainbet Fantasy Premier League is an exciting project. I have been participating in the league for the first time this season and have found the experience exciting. Trying to accumulate more points than your fellow competitors on a near-weekly basis is fun, there is a lot of tactical planning when using transfers and substitutes but it does not always bring rewards (as I have learned). I felt this project deserved a mention because it has brought both fun and frustration ever since I joined the league (and no doubt the many other participants managing their teams) Grin

Code:
Discovery of the Year: - Satofan44, AakZaki
I did not have to think a lot about who to nominate for this, it had to be Satofan44. Without a doubt he has frustrated some members with his rather direct action approach (and his feedback reflects the situation) but what cannot be denied is that he is knowledgeable when it relates to Bitcoin, blockchains and crypto in general. His technical skills have brought a lot of information and clarity to many members from his informative posts. His direct action no-nonsense approach is different to how the majority of members post but that variation does bring a different angle

After that, the only other name that came to mind was AakZaki. He is not a newly registered member but I nominated him because he has recently started posting in the Reputation board to expose account farms. As some of you might know, I regularly post in the Reputation board therefore I have noticed AakZaki taking an interest in exposing account farms and signature campaign cheats. When exposing nefarious conduct here complexities that I am fully aware of that must be contemplated therefore I had to nominate AakZaki as I am pleasantly surprised by his efforts. The forum is infested with nefarious characters and account farmers that are here for one reason and that is to enroll in campaigns for monetary purposes. Their aim is to contribute as little as possible but want to generate an income by any means. if some of their activities can be derailed or slowed down, it serves a good purpose for the forum ambience.

Code:
Craft Master: - icopress, Hhampuz
Apart from running signature campaigns, both of these campaign managers are running other projects in the forum (such as contests and events). Whether arts and crafts or casting a vote, they have been active (better to state proactive) in their approach. Both of these fantastic people have contributed immensely over the years to this forum. They have been responsible for overseeing signature campaign, bounties and competitions that have resulted in thousands of USD$ being paid to participants thus keeping members attached to this forum (as they receive monetary incentives) and by extension operating a mini-economy that helps provide payments to many members from what western country citizens would describe as 'poor' countries.

Their activities in their own right have to be considered a craft and both Hhampuz and icopress are real Craft Masters.

Code:
Help Buster: - gmaxwell, Satofan44, ABCbits
At the time of posting, a staggering 55.4% of posts by gmaxwell have been in the "Development & Technical Discussion". He has posted for very long time bringing an informative and educational angle. His posts in several other boards strengthen the view that he has been helping across the board and his posts carry value. He is a well respected member of the forum and sometimes is overlooked for what he has contributed to the forum over the years with advice and technical expertise.

Satofan44 has been active in the forum giving a lot of advice in technical matters. It seems as though he is in his element when he posts about Bitcoin and the blockchain, he corrects some errors when others posts and he provides a lot of information. Those that have read posts by Satofan44 are already aware of his no-nonsense style when he posts but that attitude cannot detract from the fact he has immense technical knowledge and he shared it on a regular basis.

With the help of his "Users who spread false/fake/unhelpful information on technical board" thread, ABCbits has been helping the forum highlighting accounts that have been posting unhelpful replies in the Technical board. Going on to leave tags for those accounts has certainly been a deterrent to those that were posting nonsense for the sake of increasing their post count to meet their signature criteria in order to be paid. There have been some complaints that some of the tags were unnecessary and/or over-zealous but some claims were made by accounts trying to their their neutral tags removed and maybe a minority that genuinely felt they did not deserve the tag. Keeping that aside, the contribution by ABCbits has been noted and for that reason nominated.

Code:
Local Hero: - TryNinja, igebotz
Adding further comments after posting those above, at the time of posting there is a statistic that is verifiable on Bitlist that cannot be understated because TryNinja has made 36.9% of his posts in the Portuguese board. Even though I am not posting there myself, someone dedicating that much time for the local board has to be mentioned. I am sure those that frequent the Portuguese board appreciate the time and focus he dedicates there.

As mentioned I do not use a local board, I post in the global boards but when I find myself looking at either the post history of a member or browsing local boards, I have noticed igebotz floats in and out of the Nigeria board. Yes he contributes both in the local board as well as the global boards including football threads we post in (and many other threads too) but the contributions in the local board cannot be ignored. I am sure the members that use the local board appreciate his contributions.

Code:
Miss Bitcointalk: - lovesmayfamilis
I have zero hesitation in nominating lovesmayfamilis in this section. She has been active in the Reputation board for a long time and has been exposing cheats and farmed accounts for a long time. The value that conduct brings to the forum by helping to cleanse it from account farmers, cheats and other nefarious actors is immense. I have been posting on and off in the Scam Accusations and the Reputation boards for a very long time, when I see the effort made behind some of the work lovesmayfamilis does, it should be recognised. The Miss Bitcointalk title is a fitting tribute for her.
