I will go with the option of receiving the payment in small amount for 29 years if there is a guarantee that I will be paid irrespective of what happen to the company. I will not lose over $932m which is collecting less than the total I won. If I chose smaller annual payments for 29 years, that will be over $62.65m per year which is enough for me. People are truly lucky to win this type of money that will change their life forever.

First i must recognize this as a huge win and massive one indeed, each ever way depends on our choice, what we want and how we think it should come for us, the needs are different and we also have different plans over what we wanted and how we plan to receive the payment, but if i were the one, i will prefer getting the money all at once, so that i can use it for some particular needs and investment necessary for me to take in securing the future.

If it were me, I'd take the entire win now instead of waiting 29 years. With that money, there are many things you can do or buy to grow it into more, such as investments or other things. That’s how it works. However I believe that smart choice would be to take the lump sum because you never know how the economy is going to be in the next 10 years. Your $1million may be worth a lot less in 10 years time due to inflation and debasement.

I'd take that lump sum 834.9 million usd. Money now is always a better idea than money tomorrow. Ask any expert. Tomorrow we can die, but money today will still be with you till tomorrow. If he decides to get paid over 29 Years, that's around 5 millions per month. Still not bad but c'mon, he can get the lump sum and create his own dividends as well.l

I wonder how much taxes will he be paying on that $845 million tho. What incredible luck. If I were in his position, I would prefer to receive the entire payment at once. That way, I could immediately invest nearly 90% of the money in assets that I believe will increase significantly in value over the next 20 years. Some of it would go into property and a few dozen percent into bitcoin. Oh well, I'm getting carried away, imagining that I'm the one who won.

I also saw that news in my feed. There is also some lady who won earlier in a lottery and she did take the lump sum. And there was a lot of argument in the internet as well on why she didn't, majority says that because she is still young and plenty of years on her.

But probably most of us will take that lump sum including my self. I think if we are smart enough on where to put that money then we can live in the next 29 years with passive income, thus building generational wealth for our family.
