Yesterday I saw this news and was surprised. They conducted a survey in Brazil and listed the top 20 brands in Brazil
I was really surprised by the revenue figures

Not surprisingly with gambling their expenses are defensive and the yearly revenue can be much different this is clearly profitable in the casino business.

As most clubs are sponsored by betting sites, the betting site's revenue goes up many times over.

This is only their top in Brazil how brands from Europe may be much higher.

Yep. I think 95% of  the casinos on this list are sponsoring or have sponsored a brazilian team in the past (most from the main League "Série A").

Maybe only Bet365, which only sponsors bigger leagues (i.e Champions League) and a few others who are sponsoring famous social media influencers in Brazil.

And those figures you posted are for sponsorships; they still spend more on advertising, traffic, campaigns, etc 
The only bad thing is that practically none of them have a signature campaign here on the forum

If there are 20 players in the casino for few hours it might be that it is only 2 or 3 players can win and the rest would lost to the Casino or all the players would lost to the casino. With that we know that casinos make plenty money a day and a week to the Month end. So it is not a surprise to me at all.

That just shows how big the gambling industry really is. It’s a billion-dollar industry and it’s popular pretty much everywhere. Before, physical casinos were the ones making the most money, but now online casinos have clearly taken over.

For us gamblers, that actually means a better experience since there are so many players and platforms competing in the market. I’m pretty sure these are fiat casinos though, because if they were crypto casinos, we would’ve seen them listed here already with their ANN threads.

And it’s not just casino games either. Most of them also run sportsbooks, so the revenue is coming from both sides, not just one vertical.

I don't know if those revenue figures are right or not and can't undergo argument with the information.
With how much gambling is becoming an admiring trends for both old and young people and so on an accommodating industry for the rich and the poor.
Moreover where do you even think the money we looses goes? We also have radical gamblers who spends even their lifetime savings and even borrows and still looses it over addictions. So obviously I'm not surprised but they're indeed huge sum of money. We therefore can't doubt it that gambling is a profitable investment.

Income is numbers that doesn't tells much. It would be more interesting to see how muhc actual profit they have made. While income, offcourse it looks big - Brazil is huge market where people love sport, these numbers only gives us idea how much money people spent on bets.
For comparison I can tell that biggest bookmaker with over $104 million income have earned almost $50 million profit.

Yes, this is all fiat casinos and from what I understand numbers is in USD.Betano and Betfair is quite big brands globally, while rest is local brands.

Naturally Betano is the first on the ranking, since it's the official sponsor of Copa do Brasil and Flamengo, the club which has the biggest crowd in the country, despite the conflict of interest between sponsoring the championship itself and one of the participant clubs of the championship. It's also one of the Campeonato Brasileiro's sponsors.

It's actually ridiculous that Copa do Brasil now is called Copa BETANO do Brasil, due to the sponsor. Similar to the old Bragantino club, which is now REDBULL Bragantino, just to let it clear the brand which is the owner there.

Moreover, Betano sponsors another nine clubs around the world: Aston Villa, River Plate, Sporting, Porto, Sparta Praga, FCSB, Brøndby IF, Bayern Munich, Benfica. It's a strong brand on the industry which grew quite fast during the last years, what must have something to do with their active marketing involving championships and clubs.

If this is the case, then it's no surprise that many casinos are indeed making a lot of profit because not only active gamblers will be there but those who want to try just because they see sponsorship for their favorite club can also definitely be a very viable option for this.

But on the one hand the comparison is quite large it seems that Betano is really a favorite there although this is understandable because Flamengo also contributes but honestly the comparison is quite far when compared to other casinos here.

Wow, that’s impressive. And this is probably accurate too, since Stake has a reputation to protect.
They wouldn’t just make up numbers like that. If anything, they might even understate them, so in theory they could be making more than what’s reported.

The currency is dollars, so the highest rated there being Betano has revenue of $1.429 billion. Most of them are online casinos with global spread but they are all fiat casinos and using them requires full KYC. If you have been gambling for long, you will know Bet365 which should be among the biggest online fiat casino in the world.

Stake and these casinos are operating at different levels because while Stake have dual advantage of both cryptocurrency and fiat, these casinos are only fiat deposits.
