Let's be specific, can you make a huge bet at random that way without checking the performance of the teams,  their current form and other minor details? If you bet exclusively on luck, you will never have the confidence to put good money; knowledge gives you the confidence to bet bigger money and get big reward from that. Gambling based on luck is not sustainable and in a matter of time, you become discouraged due to lack of motivation.

I will never do that no matter whether I have the knowledge about the game or completely a random, I bet small amount that I am willing to lose completely. So this kind of person does not need to quit, because they enjoy gambling as a form of happiness that does not come only from winning, but from other aspects as well. There is nothing like hard luck for me, it's just clear that it's not for you and lossing have made it obvious so you can quiet, I loss frequeny from gambling when I predict bets myself except I get from someone else I can't win so I have know this hence quit the predictions, so why will one keep forcing themselves in a place where they already know that they aren't winning but lossing, so they best is to quit and quoting does not make a one weak or a loser such mentality has led many into destroying themselves in gambling.

Unfortunately this was never the case for me or the people around me because at the end of the day we all have the same idea that when we're unlucky we're even more motivated to try and this urge gets stronger and stronger which makes it impossible to quit gambling.

This is the basic condition that always happens when we gamble and are unlucky instead of stopping we will just pull over for a while and play another time if we can still control ourselves well but for those who do not have good control then it is certain that they will force it until luck comes or until their money is completely exhausted just to chase the defeat that was previously felt.

IMO, that's common with most gamblers. We're dealt to gamble and have more losses than profits and that's why technical knowledge? what is that, there's no need for that. All you need to have if it's about allocating your profits is common sense. You're not going to spend all of your winnings all at once and gamble them all within the same day of winning it. While being exposed to gambling doesn't guarantee on how a gambler is good with it. The thought of it is to make sure that you're enjoying as you gamble and you're spending within your budget and using your wins in a wise way.

What is bad luck? What is good luck? If 'good luck' were consistent, you’d play forever. I’ve rarely seen anyone discuss the pitfalls of good luck, but they’re real (and I’m dead serious, though that’s a conversation for another time)

Gambling actually is a game and nothing more and not should be taken personally for money, if you reason that way, be it hard luck or not you still derive pleasure and continue gambling since it's for fun and nothing more, If you gamble with little fund you will not feel the loss and it will not be hard on you, that is why you have to gamble with what you have and can afford to lose.

One thing about gambling is consistency, if you want to win as a person no matter the losses you face you just have to keep playing and hoping one day your winnings will come. No one is perfect when it comes to gambling and no matter the experiences one feels he has acquire from gambling doesn't give the guarantee that he must always win whenever he bets and winning comes from luck too, you must have that winning luck before you win.

So I think gamblers who play frequently and couldn't win should take a break from it instead of playing and be loosing money yet no winnings, that will safe them from further looses. Though  I believe no matter the hard lucks that one faces there must be a day that luck will shine on the person and he will win but to be on a safer side once you are hit with hard luck and you cannot win, the best option is to quit than wasting time and money yet one can't win due to hard luck.
