I know some people here are using free electricity to mine cryto, or electricity that is so cheap it's practically free. Tell me how do you make it?
You can't get electricity for free however if you are from a place where you people are blessed with crude oil maybe the company that is mining the oil can decide to give you guys free electricity, for example where I'm from we have a lot of crude oil in my town and Total E&P is in charge of the crude oil there so they give us light for free, they convert gas to electricity and we have a lot of gas also in my town, so we have steady powers supply for free.
People that are mining crypto in my town are using electricity for free and it's more easy over here because of the free electricity.
I don't really understand how this works? Household power grids are designed for a certain load, and if people start mining in their homes or apartments, there will be a lot of breakdowns and other problems. If a company has free electricity, they can mine independently.
In my home town we use light how we want we are not giving a restriction or limited electricity to consume. When you build a new house all you need to do is to call an electrician that we connect you to the lights and when that is done, you are free to use the lights anyhow you want without having any restriction for free.
We enjoy light over here and you can use the free electricity to min and you won’t have an issue all thanks to Total E&P, they are even the major sponsor in the African cup of nations competition. We merit the free power supply because we have a lot of crude oil and as host community that’s one of the benefits that comes with it.

I honestly don't understand why you don't have problems? Even free electricity requires the necessary wiring and transformers. In Russia, for example, a common transformer for 100 homes is 330 kilowatts. I'll use a standard example. If, say, 20 miners use 15 kilowatts each, that leaves 30 kilowatts for the remaining 80 homes. If consumption increases, the voltage in the power grid can drop from 220 to 150 volts or lower. Or do you have private transformers for each home, like in America?
Now the oil and gas company called Total E&P is located in my village and they only give free electricity to my village we have a lot of transformers and they are using gas to generate the electricity we are using. one thing I want you to understand is that since is a village a lot of homes don’t use things that consume electricity you can go into a home and the only thing they are using will be electric bulb so people usually don’t consume this power and when you decide to min you will min without having issues with electricity.
I wish you can visit Nigeria and you visit my village you will be surprise at how we use electricity here for free and just very few people min bitcoin, currently I don’t even think anyone is mining bitcoin in my village they mostly buy and just hold which bitcoin investment.
If the power is not enough or is having issues because of too much load the company will quickly bring in another transformer and transfer some people to that new transformer we don’t spend money for electricity ours is just to use.
