These days people are easily relaxed when they encounter scammers they they now feel like they should only just be avoiding them which is very bad. Everybody knows that if you are very exposed to many of all this scammers and their methods gradually you will begin to easily identify them and escape their tricks.

When you spot scammers and you just only avoid them you are putting many other people at risk since they might not be able to notice that they are scammers before they steal money or information from them. one of the strongest method we have to protect ourselves and others online is to always find a way to report them instead of allowing them to go free and scam other people because they were not able to scam you.

Advantages of reporting scammers

• It protects others: When you report a scammer you are helping stop them from using the same trick on someone else that might not notice that it is a scam.

• It weakens scam networks: Many platforms and website use reports that you make to track patterns of the scammers, shut down their  accounts and block the wallet that they use to do most fraudulent activities.

• It improves online safety: The more the reports a platform is getting the better their system wil become at detecting and preventing future scams.

Too many people are being scammed every day on different websites and even social media platforms which is why it is good you report those that are scamming so these platforms can stop them preventing more people from becoming victims. Always share your experience with scammers to others even if the scam was successful or not so that I will be harder or impossible for them to scam more people.

One thing is to be able to identify a scammer when spotted and another is to report them to the appropriate authorities for proper actions to be taken. However exposing evil automatically stop it from reoccurring, when you notice any fraudulent activity it better you report the  person in question for him or her to be properly dealt with perhaps this singular action of yours will save others from falling same victim.

This days scammer has taken their operation to a higher level and it is very important we are very much watchful while carrying out our various daily transactions especially now in this festive period that every body wants money not minding what it takes all they just want is money regardless how they get it. It is good to always report scammers because it helps to save or protect the community from falling for such scam as the scammer and scam tactics or style would be taken note of to evaluate and see how to be able to provide a good resistance to it if it has to do with technicalities and codes. But it does not just end in one reporting to any authority; it is even better to let the community know after reporting, because that would create a broader awareness with regard to the scam and scammer you have reported, for them to know what they are up to.

Well creating awareness when you as an individual, encounters a scam is actually very good as it helps bridge the gap in one's knowledge when it comes to new scams.but then I will like to agree with the fact that even after creating awareness most folks still end up falling for the scam that is why as crypto enthusiast, we should never be too sure of ourselves when it comes to activities related scams. Always try as much as possible to read and understand their techniques if not, you might end up falling for it and you wouldn't know.....

Some of us here in one way or the other have been victims of this scammers. They are very dangerous, they can deprive you from your online account and use it for fraudulent purposes or activities.

Some time ago, I had an encounter with one of the scammers and he succeeded. How did it happen? A line called me and sent a code that is related to my Facebook account, and asked me to resend thesame code to him, telling me that Facebook was given out some cash for those that will activate their account and he wants to do it for me so that I can receive the cash, then I was still a novis, immediately I re-sent that code to him, I lost access to my Facebook account, and he was using it for fraudulent activities until I reported the issue, and my account was blocked.

It is necessary to report scammers each time you notice them. This will create awareness to other internet users , and they will remain cautious about the activities of scammers and know how to avoid them when ever they comes.

If you experience scam you should block and report the person, on social media if we can get enough accumulation of report on an account that account will most likely get banned or suspended.

If you notice the activities of scammers and you have substantial evidence against them in this forum, then you can use the section of the forum dedicated for that which is Scam Accusation. If such issue is off the forum, then you can create a post in Beginners & Help board but if it's perculiar for Nigerians like p2p scam tactics, then a post in our local board will be ideal. Most of us have benefited from such posts and have escape different scam attempts.

Yeah that right, after we might witness some kind of attack or scam scenario we should make sure to always share the information in details with others so we can also learn or have little idea and information on how the scam scenario or situations went and we can easily be very vigilant and careful when we might likely face same situations.
 Scammers and hackers can go any far ways to always get what they are after, even if it might cost them a prices then they are fully ready to pay the price. We just need to stay careful and protect ourselves from dirty people like them.

It is important for us to always present the incident that happened to us about scammers. With the development of technology, the tactics of scammers keep changing. Scammers always use the latest and greatest to harass ordinary users.

They describe our personal information in such a way that we are forced to believe them for a few moments. Those few moments are a golden opportunity for them. They trap us in a web of words and take our passwords from us without us even realizing it. And when we realize it, we immediately lose everything we have to lose.

So I think, we should talk less or not talk to scammers. And we should always spread information about scammers' fraud to everyone.

If we are not careful about scammers, then danger is certain. Scammers can easily collect your personal information through SIM cards. Sometimes they send a fake OTP to your phone, sometimes they trap you with viruses or harmful links through calls. Even an unknown call can be dangerous for you.

Don't fall into their trap. Don't let any activity of scammers fool you. Always be extremely careful. If you notice, scammers usually attack more when you are busy with some work or take advantage of the festival.
For example, you need to be more careful during festivals like Christmas. Avoid any suspicious messages, links or calls. Even if someone sends you a text saying, Merry Christmas, it is better to ignore it without checking it.

Since scammers are strengthening their circle day by day, many incidents can happen that we don't even imagine. So, always be aware and keep yourself safe.

I feel your concern OP and I very much agree with you that we should report the activities of scammers to the best of our knowledge, whether we are the victims or we heard from the experiences of victims. This is one of the reasons why I love this forum, members don't hold back to give latest information about the activities of scammers so that everybody that reads it will know and take note. Since the beginning of internet crimes have greatly increased, social media scams and phishing scams are on the increase, if you don't know about their tactics you can fall victim very easily. I see many fake online side hustles on telegram that I know are scams what I always do when I'm added is give information that this is a scam before the admin will remove me. Let us always try to do our parts when we notice scammers attempts so that people who don't know will know and ignore them.
