Were you advised by someone working in this sportsbook to place this parlay bet? You just got lucky, but I'm pretty sure that your luck won't last for too long. Your thread title is a bit misleading. The sportsbook didn't pull you back in. Your luck pulled you back into sports betting.
Did the sportsbook offer you a bonus or something? Good luck with your 300 USD, if I was at your place I wouldn't spend them for gambling.
I would spend them on celebrating the New Year with friends and family.

Just as LFC said, if I was you, I will still go ahead with the planned break, the win is to my advantage and I will make sure to make judicious use of the money, spend part of it on enjoyment through giving myself some nice threat, invest another part of the money on assets I know will bring me profit in the future, and another part of the money will go into improving my work either online or physical skill or service, that is, invest the money in my business.

Do you know the amount of money the OP of this thread has? Do you know the amount of money his weekly or monthly income is? Do you know if he is only gambling with the amount of money that he can afford to lose? If you do not know all these, you can not just make the conclusion that he is not disciplined. Although, my advise for him would be that he should spend almost all or the whole $300 that he won.

How many times have you made a parlay bet from $6 to $300? 1,2,3 or more? Being lucky can turn small into big.
That means you don't need to fill your bankroll from your own pocket, it's already there from the winnings? For me it's already too big and if I were in your position I would probably pull it in half.

I’ll be focusing more on single bets from here on. That last parlay was honestly a desperate move, but somehow it miraculously hit, so I’m still here now.

Single bets are much better, maybe you can win consistently compared to parlays which are full of challenges and even difficult to win continuously while in single bets have won 5 times.

When I am lucky to hit such wins, I don't hesitate to withdraw most of the funds. If you calculate your losses before that win, it will be clear that you are still in loss. Such wins should be used to recover losses that have been incurred. Gambling is for adults you can't dictate how they use their wins for them.

If the op wants to stop gambling for sometime the best bet would have been to withdraw the money. There are high chances that he might deposit more money if he exaust his current balance.

That's nice to hear, I've been there and managed to experience the same thing from nothing to have around $500 and I've made a mistake back there as I keep playing, I started losing, though I managed to withdraw around $150 but imagine what if I just withdraw it after hitting a good parlay. So I suggest to secure around half of it and if you still want to play, you can use the half to take more chance. The important thing is don't waste that win and secure a small win. Looks like you've managed to pull a good luck before the year ends.

Now I'm curious what those bets are, it's rare to see a parlay that gives x50, it's really hard to hit that, cheers to you!

First of all, you are being controlled by your greed and not anything else. the sportsbook don't lure anyone to gamble people engage in it because they are interested. instead of blaming the sportsbook yoi should try to work on yourself om becoming more disciplined. it is hard to turn 6 dollars into such an amount, the best thing to do when you achieve that is to stay off gambling for a while to avoid losing your wins

He is only lucky, the gambling sites does not know how to drag players back after much losses in this way, some people will lose and continue to lose in a way that all the money will be lost. This has happened to me several times while I am gambling on casinos. Everything is just random but in a way that the casinos will only later be favored.

Probably luring back players to stick around will never be in a single approach, the house has enough trick on players who's gone through a series of losses, unlucky players may stay losing as a means of dragging them back in hopes to win, you never can tell how long Op endured his losing streak before he got graced by the $300 win.

Normal experience for gambler, today we lose, tomorrow we win, the next day we lose again & the next day we win again. I just had the same thing a month ago. I was very low on funds, and my last bet was a parlay. I won like $30, and I got some budget to bet again for the next few days to come, and I lost it all. It's a coincidence, that I am sure. But it's fun to think or feel like they know what is happening to us, and so they let us win. It's not like that, or else all sports are rigged.

Still, I am superstitous on this kind of things, and I believe in the supernatural. It sounds crazy, but when you are at that point, it's really difficult to find a reason why all of a sudden you will win. Just at the brink of the moment.

Although I don't believe in the supernatural, the same happened to me with a desperate last bet of $1 that turned into winnings of $30. But it's pure randomness.

About the OP, if I was hime I would withdraw. That's my strategy: I allocate certain amount of money every month, no matter the results, but if I win, I withdraw. Nothing like "having more money to bet" or "saving that money in future months bets" because these points of view make you change initial plan, thus they are wrong, IMO.

I am very sure, 50% of gamblers in this sub-section will agree they have encountered a similar experience, including me.

In most cases, you just need to take the $300 win and leave the casino. You see that moment, you think you can make money because you have enough bankroll, it is that moment, you might actually start to lose.

When the OP was losing, he talked about stopping. Now that he won, you want him to think the same? it doesn’t really make sense.

That is the secret in gambling, there are things we need to understand when gambling because when you are all for the winning it won't going to for you that moment, that is exactly what I understand. Just check out the way luck see you through because you where not ready for it, had it been you where ready for it, it would have also turn against you that is why we don't need to rely heavily on gambling.
