It would be sensible to first withdraw the money you initially invested plus part of the profit, and continue playing with the remaining amount. Your mistake seems to be thinking that increasing the bet amount will increase your winnings, such as having a bigger target of $500-$1000 or even more than that which makes you impulsive in betting when that money can be enjoyed for New Year's Eve with your family. $300 is quite large in my country and enough to buy supplies such as meat or drinks that will accompany you on this New Year's Eve.
