Well, if I were you, at the point where you have just won, I would withdraw it and go home first to enjoy the fruit of my labour.

Yup I would say everyone gambling has experienced what the OP has posted,
maybe not on sports but it doesnt matter, it can be on any game.

I had it one on sports and on Roulette, down to the last wager after a run of
losses and boom - its a winner and we are back in the game.

I would say though, in my case those wins were just prolonging the inevitable
losses but maybe not for everyone!

The past few days have been rough for me, it's bad run after bad run, and because of that I was actually planning to stop for a while, reflect on what went wrong, and just cut the losses before things got worse. you know ( risk management thing...)

You should have left while you still could. Even if you didn't leave with the entire profit. Take upto 50% of it out to your local bank. Just in case you lose the rest you will still be on profit.

I think a lot of people have been through this. After a bad streak, a big win seems to change everything and gives the feeling of "now it's going to work". But today, things suddenly changed.

It felt like the sportsbook read my mind. I placed a small parlay, just $6, and somehow it hit and turned that into $300.  Now here I am again, back to grinding since I have funds to play with. The year is ending and I’m still gambling, so hopefully this bankroll lasts longer this time, before I end up giving it all back again.

Well I will advice you become very careful with this your wining this time, as you could get caught up with loses again. I guess you should use this $300 and settled your problem for now and know the amount that will be left as bankroll. Sometimes casino or gambling site behave like they read minds. When they know you are about leaving after much more loses, they compensate you with Small win or return back your loses, and this will trick you into believing that it's your turn to shine, whereas it is a dead trap to keep you Gambling. You better be wise, you could use that money to settle some end of year Dept or celebrate this New Year. Just a friendly advice.

Usually when I have such big odds it comes from multi bets on UFC, same game multi on soccer or otherwise some esports multi on dreamleague, etc.

Looks like my decision to continue was the right one after all. I’m on a good run right now and things are finally clicking.

I think that if you enjoy it, you do not necessarily have to quit completely. You can reduce your bet, meaning limit yourself to playing with minimal bets so that it does not put any financial pressure on you, especially if you lose most of your bets. But of course, this will depend on the decision of each individual player. If you feel that it is better for you to stop, that will also be the right decision.

With $300 or less, I'd happily retire , and I'd use that money to buy things I've wanted for a long time But things are different for the op , though it's good that they shared their experience. It makes us realize that the best thing to do when we earn money is to take it and spend it we'll get some benefit from it. It's much worse to lose it.
