Nothing is impossible, but the admin won't do you unless, upon special request, personally, from your own end, you can't delete your account, you can only wipe out all your posts.
And as for user IDs 1 and 2, I believe those were just testing accounts by the creator before Satoshi account was created.

I believe those nameless users who have never logged in are some kind of backup accounts. In case something goes wrong with a main administrator account, these users would be able to step in and bring the forum back to life, at least that’s what I think. I’m not entirely sure how this works in practice, but they could also be test accounts. Anyway, maybe Theymos can answer this more precisely.
Also, to add to that, I think that if you are curious about how internet forums like Bitcointalk work, there are, or at least used to be, forum templates that allow you to create forums for free. There you can log in, access the control panels, and see how moderation, administration, and everything else works. It’s pretty cool and interesting. You should look it up and check it out.

I think the first couple 7-10 accounts on the forum were not actually real users most are test accounts and default accounts on the forum. I'm not sure if accounts can be totally deleted but I'm sure a couple UID numbers are missing. I can still remember creating a post quite similar to this back in my newbie days. However you should take note that even if a user successfully changes his username, his user ID doesn't change its like a fixed determined value created when you register.

It's a norm to test a newly created site which I believe that was what UID 1 was used for. If you look at it was only active for five days.
Since it's a testing account, the post can be deleted by the admin to make forum members no clue of what the posts were all about, just like what's happening now.

you can only wipe out all your posts.
It may be worth mentioning that you can delete your posts only if they are replies. You can't delete your post, if it's the topic starter. Therefore, you may not be able to delete all your posts. And as for user IDs 1 and 2, I believe those were just testing accounts by the creator before Satoshi, an account was created.
What do you mean by " the creator before Satoshi"? The forum has been created by Satoshi.

It may be worth mentioning that you can delete your posts only if they are replies. You can't delete your post, if it's the topic starter. Therefore, you may not be able to delete all your posts. And even for the replies, not all places allow for replies to be deleted. I can recall trying to delete my comment on this same board (meta) when I was within member rank, and I was unable to. I don't know if its rank limited, but I'm certain of it, and as for post starter does that implies to all board in general? Edit: I just posted this reply and got it deleted to check if it’s allowed and it works.. And as for user IDs 1 and 2, I believe those were just testing accounts by the creator before Satoshi account was created.
What do you mean by " the creator before Satoshi"? The forum has been created by Satoshi. I'm referring to the account name "Satoshi", which is the account with user ID number 3 and not another bitcoin or forum creator.

If consider satoshi as the forum admin, he is not the first user. The first user would be sirius who later became a forum admin too. LoyceV has a long list of usernames including very first users of the forum. OP can use that list for finding more if he wants to do that task in a more time-saving way. -snip- If you click 'Show the last posts of this person,' you won't be able to see his post history. Why? I think this is the answer, whether there has been any improvement. - There are a few rare mod/admin actions which change your real number of posts but neglect to update your post count. - Errors can occur which can cause it to drift from the real value. - If your account is fairly old, then previous post-count recounts will have counted your MOVED: redirection topics, even though these are not counted when you make them. I fixed it this time so that these topics are not counted, undoing the previous erroneous recounts.
Or maybe the posts are archived on special pages that can't be parsed through the standard page but the post will still count. I haven't downloaded it yet to ensure you, that's why I said "maybe". Edit: I opened the pdf in another browser without downloading and there is an author "admin" among the posts. So my second assumption is probably correct.
-snip- Is it possible to completely delete a Bitcointalk account? Admins should be able to do that, but you should know that nothing is ever truly deleted from digital storage.
I think that UID 2 was an account called "satoshin" that Satoshi never actually used.

Username: admin His UID is 1, so he is the first user of Bitcointalk forum? If you check the account well, its was created on the 17th November 2009 and the last active date was on 22nd November 2009 which shows post and activities being 7 only as the account also lasted 5 days, but you cant have the posts anymore under the account history, which shows that the account was a testing sample to know how the forum could function as well as the post appearance before further implementations where effected, its nice to know about all these.

The first accounts created on any website are usually the default admin account, followed by test accounts used during setup. Over time, some of these test users end up becoming the OGs of the forum.
As for deleting accounts, while it's technically possible, it's often disabled due to concerns about existing posts and content. Instead of fully deleting an account, admin usually just modify it, such as changing the username or other details, to preserve post integrity and forum history, etc.

I find your lack of faith in Bitcoin disturbing.

If you click 'Show the last posts of this person,' you won't be able to see his post history. Why?
Because messages from the ‘admin’ account are in the private Staff section. But you're not missing anything, the 7 messages are test messages : Test. Test quote. Quoting a quote.

That means only management-level accounts like admin, moderator, and staff can see it, right? Ordinary users like me won't be able to see it. Both Donators and VIPs also have access to an exclusive forum section. I saw an exclusive forum section on the donation page. Can you tell me anything about it? Just for curiosity.

That wouldn't be very useful. If the member table becomes corrupt and you lose the main admin account, you would lose all other accounts as well. Theymos would restore from a backup. Plus, it would open additional attack vectors, and Theymos would have to remember to code changes for each backup account as well. OSS has the correct explanation and I can confirm having set up many forums in my life.

I suppose that from the beginning of the forum there was a testing period to ensure it was working correctly; for that purpose the first two users were used. Once it was believed that everything was working properly, Satoshi created his user account. That should be normal on any forum or website. The only thing I noticed that I found curious is that if we search for profile zero, it takes us to our own profile. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;threads;u=0

Both Donators and VIPs also have access to an exclusive forum section. I saw an exclusive forum section on the donation page. Can you tell me anything about it? Just for curiosity. One of the special features which I’m aware of for donators is that they are able to change their username by their self no need to convince admin for that, and other benefit which copper members also enjoy in terms of forum PM. maybe there are other benefits which are included on what’s regarded as exclusive which only those on it and the staffs know about it.

Even if you are a VIP member, you can't change your username by yourself and still need to contact theymos for that. Note that VIP members can change their display name, not their username. For more information, you can read theymos' old post. You can change your display name in your account settings. You can't change the username that you use to login with.

Hold on, what do you mean by "by the creator before Satoshi account was created". Was Satoshi not the creator of this forum or have I been with the wrong information regarding that there were admin accounts that were created prior to Satoshi's? Is it possible to completely delete a Bitcointalk account? If it is not possible, then why do some accounts look like this?
Reminds me of a door inscripted on it with the phrase "out of bond".

Which means the comment quoted below was referring to display name not username? Or staff OmegaStarScream was wrong in his statement as the Op from that thread was clearly asking of how to change username. 50 btc just for changing my username. Are you kidding.
He is not , 50 BTC = 50 BTC . This forum has been created when Bitcoin has been created so BItcoin was cheap that time , most of people donated long time ago and have VIP accounts , but yeah since you are Junior you should simply create a new account instead of donating 50 BTC. On the other hand what’s the difference between username and display name, I can see few user which have customer name attached to there name after name change the old name turns out to be under ( aka)
