I don't believe this is about blaming anybody or waiting for things to change back or anything. Things don't normally change back.

This is so true.
Things do change, but they dont change for good. They keep getting worse every blessed day. It is as if the moment you wake up, the prices of things have gone up x10.
Recently, I have been trying to relocate to a serene environment, but after looking at the cost of things, man, I relaxed back until I am well prepared for that. Something very easy for me to do a few years back.

Waiting for things to change back and keep trying is the thing that you can do. You are not just waiting to change but you are also trying what you can. You don't give up but do something while you wait for the situation to be better.

It needs awareness to realize what you need to do in the current situation. You don't have to wait for help but you want to change the worst situation. We don't know when the help will come and if we don't do something, we will not change the situation and perhaps it may get worse.

These things are not new. Even at times when dumbphones where working and people had to move from one place to another, they had to go through similar things. They are more evident now that things have become easy to access.

As far as skills are concerned, you have to be flexible about everything. Start with what you like to do and build on your passion. Degree is important to start but skills need to be earned as well.

Things will continue to change and hence depending on the situation you have to think fast.

That is a valid thought when things nowadays are more expensive and becomes quicker in phasing. Investing, learning a skill, saving and all of those trades that we can have to ourselves, it will benefit us if we'd learn it earlier than the others. And the same thing with the thought of if we don't invest today, later on we'd buy assets more expensive that it's cheaper yesterday. People think that investing in real estate is going to require them time. But it's not how it goes, the prices here in my place is getting more expensive quickly. But with Bitcoin, I think it make sense for them to wait a little bit to get better for which they can afford to have it.

People in many countries dream of luxury. Those who dream of luxury often struggle to make ends meet. In fact, the real problem is that instead of saving, they spend lavishly, even going into debt, despite not earning enough. They buy the latest phone just for show. It might have been acceptable in the past, even if it wasn't always right. But in the current climate of extreme inflation and low wages, it's the last thing anyone should do.

Well these are the kinda of people that end up becoming slaves to 9-5 jobs, depending on the next pay and often lacking enough time to prepare for their future because they used their hands to ruin it in the first place simply because they want to keep up with the latest trend or fashion. Personally, I see individuals who want lifestyles that's not in tandem with their bank accounts as people who are setting themselves up for regret in the long run cause time waits for no one and before you know, there's nothing you can fall back on when you're old simply because you blew your time and youth away chasing meaningless things.

I must agree with op, the best strategy is getting things done first before looking forward to other less important things. In my locality, the rate of self employ jobs are much compared to normal paying jobs whereby you get employed by private sectors because getting a government job currently is very difficult besides the private sector can’t offer a nice valuable pay, basically everyone intend to develop their financial status by learning other skills and seeking for multi jobs. I find this idea as the best, if everyone can adopt a similar lifestyle definitely the high rate of poverty will decrease.

Yes, that's right. Waiting for things to improve won't make you more successful so waiting isn't the best strategy. You must be able to adapt to the current environment and system so you can move faster than the system.

There's no smooth road to success especially if the system isn't working and goods are increasingly expensive. You need to hone your skills to generate more than one income. Essentially no matter how beautiful the results no matter how sweet the taste of success there's always a steep winding road ahead. Many people view success solely in terms of the results and resent the process.

I am not trying to talk down on women, however most young women live above their means. I am amazed to see girls whose pay is low using the latest phones and putting on designer stuff. Many of them don't have savings because they don't have any investment plans. Once you start living above your means the next move will be to collect loans.

Government jobs' pay in my country is very low. Most civil servants, mainly those in the lower cadre, are poor. Their earnings are based on the approved minimum wage, but the high cost of goods and services caused by inflation is eating up their earnings. Many of them who are smart or industrious are seeking other means of getting extra funds. I wouldn't advise anyone to depend on only government jobs because they would struggle to survive.

I can't agree more with you. Things don't just change back we have to put in real effort by finding the real problem like the ones you already mentioned and then finding the best answer should be the process. if we don't know where to start then we are doing it all wrong.

The basic is repeated by everyone, like our parents wants us to study, and find a good job, that must be stable and there is generational difference that can make them beleive the job their kids are doing is stable or not while in their kid's perspective they are more than stable but then they want good for their kids in terms of choosing the right partner and then the process repeate and the same generation gap and other things.

Some are smart, they beleive themselves, but some lack few characteristics than others, they might not do the same things as others are doing. That difference, is what diversification means.

So there come helping each other, being friendly, but in the meantime doing better for yourself and growing and solving the problems that we are sensing and not yet came.

What you need to learn is not what you want to learn but should be what the times requires in other that you can stay relevant and invaluable spotted in the midst of the crowd for your survival in this present world depends on what value you can offer as service or goods.

The world has been shaped in a way that we're turned into survivor mode rather than doing what you really enjoy. We always go for what's in demand that would pay fast to at least survive and this has made lots of people stay far from their choice career and reduces their passion.

I feel it's not right but sadly that the way the world works. People need to survive first, then you would do well to slowly transition to the career you desire which is still in demand because only then would you live your life to the fullest.

Seating back blaming the government, your community chiefs for how bad things are becoming will not change a thing for the better.

Well, the person needs to know their strengths and weaknesses first, knowing these two will enable us to know when to start easy to make things better, and what things are needed to strengthen these weaknesses, or to make up for them.

When the system changes, we need to also change with the system because we are the system and how we react plays an important role to be part of that system that’s constantly changing. To build a very robust system that your life needs to adapt with can be very hectic, but taking it gradually at a time is more important thing to do now and that will really help us become a better version of ourselves while living within this same system.

One thing we should necessitate in a system change and level up to is our source of income, having more than one means of income is very important and it plays a very vital role is shaping how our future becomes. One truth I learnt this year is that things will never get better, prices of things will never get cheaper and all the problems in the world are not going to disappear. Instead of waiting and hoping for things to get better, we should be working hard to have the means of meeting our responsibilities like earning more money, building better relationships both business and otherwise and finding ways to keep ourselves motivated and happy. This is the only thing that will work and not prayer for things to return to how they were yesterday or even get better because that will never happen. That idea itself is an illusion used to keep us trapped and hopeful.
