Except that something new unveils in 2026, Bitcoin will  still be influenced by the already known factors that has always caused price to fluctuate since 2010 till this year, what the analysis experts had mentioned is not going to be false  for things that will cause price to either pump or dump. Regulations can cause price to take any turn, just like when Trump started the tariff war, Bitcoin price dumped, also will price dump if most investors are selling at same time but whether price of Bitcoin is going to $170k or  down $30k, what's constant is buyers and sellers, people will buy and stand the chance to make profits at a later year, and some that has bought years ago will sell and take profits.

However I see believe that the year 2026 might not really be a bullish year for bitcoin. Based on how bitcoin has performed in the past years, it is expected that bitcoin will experience bearish season in the coming year.

Not sure if that will happen, I mean the market cycles could still be in effect for us. If that still holds true, then 2026, will be a bearish one and I don't think that we can reach that kind of price. On the contrary, there are speculation that it can go down as low as $70k. So even if there are ETF inflows, nobody can stop the bear market, as there will be more selling pressures in 2026. I do agree that there will be a lot of factors that can influence the price, but then again, if investors are seeing that the market is negative then majority of them might have to shift to other assets because they don't want to see Bitcoin's price going down hard.

2026 looks to me like the year of the bear and not that of the bull. So if that be the case, there is no way that the market is going to pump in 2026, it will definitely fall and we will be in the bear market by then. Bitcoin market trend in 2026 will depend on a lot of factors many that you’ve mentioned, so other factors been mentioned by experts won’t be the only ones to decide the trend of the market. Bitcoin is still uncertain come 2026, but with the overview of recent market conditions, it suggests for a bear more than a bull now. After every bull season comes the bear season, we should not always forget that while speculating the next big move of the market.

I must say OP, you kept me anticipating hopefully to know what the faith of the Bitcoin market in 2026 is it I become.
I have also read so news of whalers and institution investors Speculating unrealistically about what 2025 would be but obviously most Speculations were false with their faiths cut off after price did not reach their expectation on the uptrends.

I am also not going to disagree with you that Bitcoin may fall below in 2026 and I also don't disagree with them that believe in new ATH comes 2026 but if i must say, 2026 will be green before the market turns bearish due to market rally with the current large buying of Bitcoins from investors.

Why is there so much confusion about what is going to happen by next year because there have been different speculations that the price of Bitcoin is going to increase in value why some persons are saying that next year, Bitcoin is going to dip more. Should we be worried about what is going to happen by next year? No I shouldn't be worried because the DCA strategy is intact and people are spending money while some others are investing in Bitcoin without bothering themselves if the price of Bitcoin will go up or will continue the way it has been moving.

HEre is your judgement day, BTC right at the 50 day average.   If this simple moving average cannot be beaten and the average turns positive then you cannot hope for better in this first quarter imo.  Its the smallest ask of the BTC price action.

Why I am having that thought of seeing it that it will be a bad year. Aside from the known pattern of the 4-year cycle which after we went through a bull run is the bear. Every time that there are a lot of people who are optimistic and predicting high prices of Bitcoin, the opposite is actually comes next.

This is no longer a thing that we could hope for Bitcoin. The adoption was already there and it has driven massively for this cycle. But if there's more to it, aside from ETF, it's about the countries declaring that they're interested and actually doing it by having a bitcoin strategic reserve after what US did.

I am generally positive about 2026 and give a higher chance to rise than fall.

But it depends on the global economic situation.
1) If the recession situation and the global economic warfare US regime began a while ago continues the same was as 2025, then we could see small rises and bitcoin may even set a new ATH below $150k this time.
2) If something crazy happens and destroys the global economy and makes the existing recession worse, then we may see a crash happen and price go even lower to $60k (roughly 30% crash)
3) But if things move in the opposite direction and we see recession starts going away and the US regime stops its wars with the rest of the world, then bitcoin price would shoot up and by the end of 2026 we could see $500k price.

I posted these in order of likelihood by the way, the most likely scenario is on top (ie. #1).

In terms of Bitcoin's Q1 returns and monthly returns based on price movements, I am not very confident that 2026 will see a significant increase. And if people's trust in Bitcoin is based on price, that trust may not materialize if the price experiences a sharp decline after Bitcoin's Halving price reaches an ATH of $126k.
I just want OP to try to study or find data related to Bitcoin's price bottom to learn and analyze price movements in 2026. It doesn't mean we're great at technical analysis.

I think if we could do a poll asking people what they want to see with bitcoin price in 2026, a lot of participants to that poll may likely give an opinion of having to see bitcoin price falling a bit more to at least $60k-ish in the first quarter of the new year to give an opportunity for them to accumulate more bitcoins in a low price before any significant surge. Regardless of a low or rising price, long term investors mindset is beckoned on more and stashing.

Many of us believe Bitcoin will rise in 2026, while others think it may decline in 2026 due to a bearish pattern. We are still waiting for an altseason, and I want to believe we will see an altseason in 2026, which is not possible without Bitcoin going up.
